Hi Everybody
Did a search on this but nothing came up........

Dont know whether anybody has found this on the main page, but if you move mouse over top of letter, the cursor changes to an input sign. If you then double click you get a small blue bar appearing, right click on it and select "google search" from the menu and voila you get this.....

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient-menuext&q=%26nbsp%3B

and lots of stuff on non-breaking space - whatever that is!
Some of the sites definitely cover some of the "space" of the game and may provide clues and hints on the plot type of puzzles and how to solve them - check ot the timberwolf hit and the nutter on the &nbsp virus theory.

Also it sems to me that the second page is just an address for the acadamy

The Perplex City Acadamy
One Taversen Square
The Old Town
London

The photo is just the vew from the acadamy - sometimes the clues are more obvious and we make them difficult
The error log contains a snapshot of the time leading up to the death of Hesketh Zeller
and the various dialogues give an idea of the people engaged in some form of research project (non breaking space?)and their relationships and project hierarchy - somebody should start an ogranogram of the people and their relationships (business and personal).
One general comment - to get the level of involvement in this game it can't just be about "code" cracking its going to involve hard and soft intelligence skills imho

Cheers

The 'non-breaking' space (aka '&nbsp') is the character entity used in HTML to represent a white space.
Apparently, the page you are looking at (perplexcity.com) starts with a single white space (that might have been added by an editor used to create the page). When you hover on it, your mouse cursor accordingly changes to the 'I-beam' cursor (as it does anytime it's hovering on text, to allow you to select it..it's not necessarily an 'Input cursor').
By double-clicking, you selected the white space.

Right-clicking and selecting 'Search on Google' is an option for you because you might have installed some plug-in/add-on. I, for instance, with Firefox 1.0 and no add-ons, don't have that option in my right-click menu.

Anyway,
thanks for posting the link to your google results.
I fear we won't find much info on this result since it's like googling for ' ' (lots of results Smile

Good try though,
and you made me check that page again, which is good.

Thanks,
F.O.R.

I was going to reply saying the same thing, but I decided against it, thinking (hoping) he was just being witty and making a joke... otherwise... man... he must really be new to the internet

*sigh* I know, I'm awful... I'm surprised I actually have that much... looking around, unfiction must really be growing quick, because there's so many people with <100 posts... I'm still a relative newbie too... ilovebees was my first arg, so I've only been here a few months... but, I guess I was actively involved enough to rack up the posts. which is another reason post count really shouldn't matter when it comes to newbie'ness or wisdom... a lot of posts means squat really *shrug*. when teamxbox added the 'no post count' feature to their forum, I used it... and many long-time users did the same... ah well. But, I missed my 777th post milestone here... too bad...

so anyway... Smile

Not sure where to post this, but...

I've put in my email address at the perplexcity.com site twice and haven't
received a reply. I had thought that maybe my ISP was canning it as
spam, but I haven't found any info about spam "protection" on their web
site.

Anyone else not getting the introductory email?

Thought this would be a great place to say hello. I am completely stoked about this game. I have been buried in the search for the urns and have been looking for my next puzzle, and I think this be it!

FH Very Happy
