We've had a poll going since last week for Team Encryption, c'mon over and cast your votes!

as I posted in the other forum (and for some reason they sensor 'unfiction forums' to 'brown boards' )
Quote:
ugh... not another forum... there are two main forums now? I've never been to the IU forums, and I'm a regular user of unfiction (and the other two teams are meeting there too) - I was wondering where all the action was taking place for the encryption team... I vote we use the email mailing list for important discussions... I don't want to have to join and regularly keep up to date on two forums. but if I'm a minority, maybe I'll have to withdraw myself from encryption and join one of the other two teams who converse regularly on unfiction... even so, as 3 teams together, we'll need to be coordinating all our results somewhere... *sigh*

Present. There is a simular post on immersion unlimted, and I wanted to say hi here. There are 7 votes for me there, but only 3 people have actually said who they voted for, and since it is an open vote, I would not say that that is definative.
Here is what I posted there:
Quote:
Its is rather difficult to make an informed choice on this, as I really only know half of the people that are on the team.
As for being leader myself, I would not mind the administrative position, though I think that I would still want a consensus on any issue that were to arise. If there were no time for that, I could make a decision pending team review. Either way, I am not looking for the position, but I would be up to performing in the required capasity.
I have others in mind that I feel are capable of this role, but right now, I will refrain from mentioning them, as I has said, there are too many that I do not know, and I think that this would be unfair.
Would the others that I have not yet met care to speak and intoduce yourselves?
Also, as for the refference to this being the "brown boards," this is not a matter of cencorship, but merely a matter of seperating the Out of Character information, and the In Character information, since Immersion Unlimited allows for character interaction on the boards as well as players.
I am usually on in the evening after 9pm or so EST. I am mostly active on Immersion Unlimited, but I post here too.
As for which boards to use, I personally like the Immersion Unlimited as a gaming philosophy, though I don't think that it really matters which board our team uses for this game. I come from a RPG background, so I like staying in character, but this works too.

Ustice Uber Alles. I'm Agent NOF -- because not too many else probably know that. I don't always like to play ARGs as me (RungeKutta).
I voted for Ustice on IU and I voted for him here. He's very non-confrontational, patient (never seen him refuse to help), and comes from a Computer Science background ... so he has a decent knowledge of standard coding.
I'm too busy to even think about being the team leader, and really the team leader seems to be more of a mouth-piece to me. We need someone who both understands the fuction of our team, and is diplomatic.

Umm Alch3mist, in reference to my post above, there has been another poll going as well over at IU.
I'm sure you received the email from Agent NOF, but for yourself and the rest reading, there is a meeting scheduled for tonight (22nd) at 8pmEST in #pandoraencrypt on chat-sol. I urge everyone to show up so we can figure this out as a team!

Sorry to interfere with another teams business, but why not add the polls together? (leo's suggestion)
That would make:
Ustice: 11
Alch3mist: 5
Strifey & Durga: 1

who says that?
only having 3 posts doesn't bode well for supporting your claim...
