TRIVIA: The 2nd book of hours
Quote:
An unusual manuscript with a type of decoration not often met with. An accompanying description states that this was written
and illuminated for Marguerite de France, Duchesse de Berry, Daughter of Francis I, on the occasion of her marriage with
Emmanuel-Philibert, Duke of Savoy, in 1559, as evidenced by the royal arms of France on the recto of fol. 21 and the ducal
arms of Savoy on the verso.

I put the text from that page into a table for easier viewing, as grumpy noticed there were the same amount of letters on each line I thought there might be something going diagonal, can't see anything tho
I put it here if anyone else wants to take a look:

Puzzle bookofhours.html The grid is certainly suspicious but doesn't go anywhere for me.
There are two other ways to try to read this.
1. Rearrange the words to make more sense. (It is over for now, etc.)
My tries leave a lot of tiny words over.
2. There's a missing word at the end.
"Thats how skills are ...."
This together with the word "more" suggests we should find it.
"developed" or something.
The rest of the text might function as a cryptic crossword clue for the
missing word ("Broken harmonicas floating in Manhattan" = maraschino
type of clue).
"drummed in" for example.
Of course, none of this works for me ...

I think there is missing portions to the phrases. When I read it the first time it seemed to me to be more like a conversation between two or more ppl.
i.e.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Hand the instrument over to me..."
"In a minute..."
"For now it may be..."
"Good."
"...as you think..."
"It is for....."
"That's how skills are...."
But that last bit could also be divided up "that shows kills are..."
We are missing what the conversation is about.
SPEC: I just saw Sunny's most recent letter from Phylis.

I've taken the risk of listening at the door. All I hear is, "Yes, sir," and "If you think that's best, sir."
Might it be a part of the conversation between JD and the mysterious person on the other end of the line?

One of those pages is very interesting
http://homepage2.nifty.com/RieEzaki/small/tanabata.html
if only because so far it is the only page to mention both wishes and stars
Tanabata -
STAR FESTIVAL
So looks like along with the phone calls about the star disc, we are beginning to get another reminder about decoding it here.
I'd also like to add a page to the random finds at the end of the tunnel:http://1001stamps.com/storegen/C213_24.html
(Sooner of later I'm going to edit this message one too many times!)[/url]

I sent a new message to whitehouseSPLAT greywethers.net ... the reply stated my original subject... and the same message as Myssfitz received.
