Email from Agatha Dobbs re the library reading program

Hello Sunny!
What a cheery name! If only just saying it could make it be true!
In case you don't know, we've had nothing but rain, rain, rain around here
lately and I couldn't tell you the last time I saw the sun peeking out.

Thanks so much for your enthusiasm and interest in our Summer Reading Challenge
Program. Unfortunately, it is pretty much of a local thing and not really
designed to be conducted over the Internet. In fact, I don't even have an
electronic copy of the sign-up form I could send you. I guess I could have Sam
make one for me but I honestly don't see much point to it. But, due to yours
nad other similar inquiries, we are in the process of putting up on our website
some additional information about what we are doing locally, so that others can
possibly follow along at home or even in their own communities. That
information should be available sometime next week.

So thanks for your e-mail and your interest and although you can't actually
sign-up for our Summer Reading Challenge Program, you'll be able very soon to
do your own Program along with us.

Sincerely,
Agatha Dobbs

storms fairies and magic

Ok
So there has been alot of mention about storms brewing. I know that Phyllis has mentioned it a couple of times and it has been referenced elsewhere not to mention in the trailers at the start of the game. I know that there are elemental faireis that control the weatherand that if the 9 are fairies some of them are elemental . Maybe someone can find some more stuff on storms and majic and fairies.

My letter from Mrs. Dobbs, regarding an information request.

I don't need to start a new thread with my letter, I'll just add it here with Sunny's! Cool

Dear Steffeny (my, what an interesting spelling of your name!),

I must admit that helping people who e-mail me get a job at the local hospital is a little beyond the normal realm of my Librarian duties. But, as one of the most ardent and consistent supporters of our wonderful little community, I'm happy to step "outside the box" so to speak and help anyone interested in coming and joining our community. Especially someone who may be bringing much needed skills to something as important as our local Health Care facilities.

So, yes, I will gladly make some inquiries for you and see if perhaps I can provide you with an individual name to e-mail regarding your possible
employment at Greatwater General.

Sincerely,
Agatha Dobbs

Thank you. My father thought it should be spelled the way it sounded to him. By the time I had the school ystem taught to spell it correctly I was graduating!

Thank you very much. I have been having trouble reaching the hospital through their main e-maill adress. But I have alway been helped by the people at the library. I know that if I can't locate the information on my own someone there will know just where to look for it.

I also notice that the link for the library cards is not fully active yet, I look forward to being able to get one in person when I arrive in town. I have spoken to Sam Greene once or twice by e-mail, and I know he is working hard to get all the new systems in place and also somethings that were unexpected last minute high priority items. Tell, me, do the police have any leads on whomever vandalized the library the other night? I hope that the books were not damaged beyond saving. I went through school reading just about anything I could get my hands on, sometimes as many as 8 or 9 books a week. Books are my dearest friends! It would be a shame if they were damaged to the point that no one would be able to enjoy them again.

Again, thank you for your assistance with contacting someone at the hospital.

Steffeny

Pretty benign as far as letters go, but it gives her an opening if she wants to talk about what is happening at the library.

Interesting you should mention that. Barb specced that Sarah may have been the guardian of the Wish and that it was locked away in the chest that Phyllis opened.

Djinn, being the more famous of genie-kind, are also often locked in inanimate objects and also grant wishes. Genie-kind seems to be divided in 4 groups, each group tied to an element. Djinn are tied to the air.. Storms would fall into their purview as well, I suspect.
