Bruce and angie's getaway and Don tears up the office...

Hi Pam,
Sorry it's taken me a couple of days to recover from my wonderful
mid-week
getaway. Then Uncle Don was tearing up the back office for notebooks
and stuff
before he took off for the airport.

No, we didn't go anywhere exotic. Bruce took me to a little B&B called
the
Yellow Pelican, run by a grandmotherly type named Martha Sims. She's a
cheerful
apple-cheeked woman who'll talk your ear off -- but would do anything
within
reason to make her guests happy. He had reserved the largest, attic
room --
with a big picture window that looked out on the ocean. Made for quite
a light
show as yet another thunderstorm lit up the evening sky. There was a
Jacuzzi in
the room and he had a plate of fresh fruit and champagne waiting for us
when we
got back from dinner (funny how you mentioned strawberries and
champagne in
your earlier email, did you send something to him to suggest that?). A
very
relaxing and enjoyable evening.

To answer your earlier question. Bruce admitted to me that his computer
experience is pretty much limited to emails and web surfing. The
technical
stuff is done by his staff. He's more of a "people" person, he likes
the "marketing" aspect of the business. He told me that Dale was the
artist
and computer programmer of AnonymousFame. So Bruce wasn't able to give
me any
pointers for getting into the SOD computer. Sorry.

Things have quieted down a little after Uncle Don almost tore up the
back
office gathering some books and papers before he left for the airport.
And
Frank hasn't been around the restaurant the last two days. I've invited
Bruce
to come over for dinner on Sunday night. Oh, by the way, he's a real
sweet
kisser.

Angie
