[FOOLISHNESS] OK

OK Rowan, don't have too much of a pettiness attack. I was my first ever post and, to be honest, probably my last as I really couldn't care less about whether things are already posted or, horror or horrors, are IN THE WRONG THREAD!!! Please help me god, the world is obviously going to end tomorrow if people do not follow the "rules" of the pedantic people who use this site - GET A LIFE - IT's A GAME!!! JON HARKER IS NOT REAL!!! HE IS NOT HIDING ANYWHERE AS HE DOES NOT EXIST!! I do not even play ARGs, I have better things genarally to do with my life. This one just intrigued me as, being in the Marketing industry myself, I was curious to see how weak minded people are sucked into a fake world so much so that they actually believe in what they are seeing. Well done to my friends at Draft London and Lowe Worldwide for leading you on such a merry dance.

By the way Ed - please cancel my membership, I have done all that was needed.

Edit: Better topic - Wishi-san

Well duh! Of course It's a game and It's a really good one that's why people get into so much! It's not very often that you get to play a game that you really get to use your brain in. So it's not very hard to understand that people can get anoyed when the same information is getting posted over and over again. Just my 2 cents.

Laughing Are you actually serious? Way to try to insult people who you know nothing about concerning a subject you obviously know nothing about! Bravo!

Like read about ARGs on a forum you don't want to visit in order to tell the other users of the forum that they are stupid for using it? That's productive.

I must admit that when I started reading this forum I was a bit surprised by the harsh <read the wiki, or this and this thread> remarks that fly about.

However now that I'm a bit more clued in on everything I get the same feeling of wanting to hit someone repeatedly with a blunt stick for "discovering"something that is already known (don't worry, the doctor gave me some pills for that!).

Anyway, leave the guy alone I guess, he came, didnt like it and left. end of story.

Could I be more tactful? Probably. Do I hate reading the same thing over and over and over again? Absolutely. Is it too much to ask people to do a 5 minute search instead of posting "well, i haven't really read everything, but I found this nifty piece of information"? In my opinion, no. I am quite willing to help out anyone who has a serious question that, despite efforts taken to find the answer, are still left wanting. But I'm also not going coddle those who think that reading what others have posted in the preceeding week is not worth their time.

But hey, if you guys want to keep posting redundant information in a million separate threads, knock yourselves out. I know when I'm being labled a party-pooper and not letting anyone have any fun. If you have a serious question that you want me to answer, I'm not that hard to find between PMs and #sableshuck. But don't expect me to contribute to this forum anymore unless someone takes all the trout out to the trash.

The Evil Trouter,
Rowan

Rowan, don't give them a notice. You are right.
Personally, before posting I had read every single post here.
This mezzanine door is driving me mad, someone who will get through will be my hero! cheers

Well, this is useless and pointless. The rules are there to make the game better for everyone, if you don't want to follow them, don't post, there it's simple and you won't have to put up with the terrible harshness of them
