I like the way this looks!
Also, if you look at the portfolio on Judith Strand's Geocities site, the first photo of the headphones/glasses has an image of someone on the lens. Creepy. The others are designs; something to look into

Its made by a man named Gabe. Well all the ar-ish events this seems to be a new arg for sure. Though it deos seem old... I also found a mailing list on evergreen and i am signing up. concerning the timespan of this "project" it seems
we have the oldest pages and entries, that
are over half a year old (like june 04) BUT
the "tobeannounced" book "the traveler"
by john twelve hanks is supposed to come june 05 ...
http://www.randomhouse.com/author/results.pperl?authorid=59704
but the books story would fit perfect in this what seems a story ..

From the evergreen foundation page, if you click on the 'Media' link,
you get a dialog where you can enter your e-mail address.
Haven't received a reply yet, but figured sharing was good.

ARG or book promotion? As in - actual game with its own point (based around the book) or just some fun stuff to generate interest in the book?

So does anyone, (especially after visiting the Random House pages) really think there is an ARG to be found or just an AR that's pretty well done, but frozen in time? (Personally, as sad as it seems, I really don't expect to see this go anywhere... just a good advert.)

Hmmm.. looking at the Auto parts page directly:
http://www.resurrectionautoparts.com/
There is a link for "Evergreen Parts" which leads to a phBB forum. the "Guidelines talk about travelers and at the bottom mentions "c@rnivore" I think this is more than it apprears on the surface.
In fact all of the clickables go to the forum.
Curious. Will be sending an e-mail.
