[UPDATE] 12/26

A few new things

on yturbans.htm:
Quote:
# Our security measures appear to be adequate; there has been no more hacking. The "meeting" was fictional, but at least we all got a chance to talk face to face and pool our knowledge. I trust all three of you, and I know that together we can see this ceremony through.

on Dan's page:
Quote:
Carrot, stick, carrot, stick. I'm getting REALLY sick of this stupid town.

on Mace's:
Quote:
I don't think this is over like Master Bao says. I think this is just the calm before the storm. Someone got wind of our ceremony and now police, hackers and some psycho weatherman are all harassing us.

and
Quote:
Master Bao: Michael, you must have faith. There is no cause for alarm, everything is well in hand. Or do you doubt my abilities?

Michael Ace: Boss, you hired me to be a security advisor. Sure it's a euphemism, but I CAN advise you on security. And I can do it better than anyone else in this little town. Have any of THEM ever done time? Let me do my job.

and finally, on Flora's:
Quote:
okay, that was a little embarrassing. Turns out that wonderful tract on the town webpage was made by a hacker. At least that's what Daniel says, and I trust him. With computer matters, anyway. But why would somebody hack the town website and put our own doctrine on it? Perhaps they are actually faithful souls we have not yet met, and they wish to improve our site...like guardian spirits!

Okay, it must now be said.

Floralia is as dumb as rocks and likely there only as the administration's free lay.

...there, that's out of my system.

Mr. Ace's and Floralia's pages seem the most important. Apparently, we have the authorities' (and one weatherman's) attention. We possibly have Floralia also interested. As a result, Mr. Ace is looking to do something to lock down the situation. We need to counteract that somehow.

I have a theory (it could be bunnies ^_^):

We have the password to the task list, and we haven't used that yet. Is there something we can put into the task list that would get Floralia's attention while sliding by the others? David's too conspicuous (especially now), and Michael is dumb*er* than rocks and loyal. However, we may be able to use Floralia somehow if we go after this correctly. Just throwing out ideas - for example, could we get her to send her account of the religion to the police? Or, perhaps, could we get her to play distraction/hinderance/release Jill? (The last one is me dreaming.)

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes
They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses
And what's with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies, bunnies! It must be bunnies!

(couldn't help myself)

Well I haven't seen any updates since the 26th, but we're pretty short on time if the big event is happening on the 31st.

vidstudent, I agree that we should do something with the task page, but I don't know what either. Someone did post something (from the wiki):
Quote:
# Everyone should report to Master Bao's residence tomorrow for a review of the doctrine of the King in Yellow. (Removed Dec. 24)

and from the page, it seems like they actually did have a meeting, even though they now know it was a hoax.

I think Flora's our best bet too. Maybe we can have her contact our intrepid reporter Paddy Fitz and give him an interview about the religion to "spread the faith."

Other ideas?
