San Diego, The Beautiful Ok, I wonder if I was the only one who thought this when they looked at the song:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I am looking at the start of the song....trying to think how it will sound...San Di-e-go San Di-e-go...You...Are? Waitaminute...they used U and R for "you are" in a song about San Diego? you are you washington? what the hell is going on here? oh. different language. got it.
Mind you, I couldn't see the caption or the characters at the bottom of the screen when I started reading...
Edit: Spolier? Fixed tag

The whole song seems kind of off, but that's probably because of the tempo.
Oh, San Diego, San Diego
Uruwashi minato,
mizu aoku,
hana akaku,
nanika shiawase shiraseru you ni...
naru yo, kane no ne
sora takaku, sora takaku...
Oh, San Diego, San Diego
Uruwashi minato,
Oh, San Diego, San Diego
Ai no machi.

Amile Since the subject of inanimate tourists came up, I wanted to recommend you all go see the movie Amelie if you havn't already. It is by far the most original, imaginative and fun movie I have seen in the last year. Grood schtuff.

This spurs the head-monkeys to action!
Anyone else interested in seeing a more complete picture of our little corners of the world from ILB? (removing the flowery language and the Gilmore reference: taking a pictorial guide of our axon locations) I had a lot of pictures for the Georgia Axons in the thread, but they were al very utilitarian. I'm suddenly interested in knowing what was around them, where people camped out, stories about false leads, neat restaurants/activities/attractions people found during the hunt.
Then again maybe nobody wants to go back out to the axons ever again.

That was--kind of--the point of this. I took pictures of a couple of (sadly) defunct axons. You can see my favorite axon off to the left here; this one was easy and we were able to get it pretty much every week. I also wanted to have a little fun taking pictures of local landmarks, too. (The avatar's at a McDonald's, which is a bit boring photo-wise.)
I'll put up more later. ._.

That guy, I swear, must have caused certain PMs to laugh themselves silly when you submitted him for the crew specialist positions. I know I sure still laugh hard enough to cry whenever I see him.
