[QUESTION] Now what?

OK, we have less than 24 hours until the ceremony, where Jill will befall some unknown fate; what can we do?

There hasn't been an update since yesterday, so it looks like it's up to us to figure something out.

Obviously the best thing would be to get Master Bao's password, but I haven't had any luck with that. I think that if we haven't made any more progress by tomorrow morning, we need to do something drastic, like announcing the cancellation of the ceremony or starting a task to bring Jill to Kudram.

I know it lacks subtlety, but we're almost out of time. Any ideas?

I've been wondering that same thing. We know the police are out. Paddy wasn't a huge help. The weatherman might be a way to rescue Jill if we knew of some way of contacting him - at the very least he might create some havoc to buy her some time. Daniel might be a weak link in the Indunn administration. He doesn't subscribe to their beliefs, so he might have a problem watching Jill get killed - especially since it seemed he might have a thing for her. There is also vis and the gang. We do have vis' email. I can try to email him again to see if he can phyiscally help out at all.

You and me both. After Flora's interview and the various mentions of the Sun Shrine and the Journey to the West, I went back and tried to come up with something. But I still come up with the same thing. I tried to see if there was a variation of the name Sun Wukong (like Zhang Jiao is a variation of something else that I forget right now) but so far nothing. I have a strong feeling the password is tied into that story somehow...but I don't think I'm anywhere close to proving it.

As a last ditch effort, it's better than nothing. We could certainly come up with a post for the town page that tells the people of Idunn the ceremony has been postponed again (or cancelled). If Daniel or Bao decide to change the page, we can always write another post claiming they are the hackers and not to listen to them.

As for a task on the admin page...who would be the best one to direct it to? Mace physically has her, but would he contact Bao to double check the orders? Or would Dan and his reluctancy towards Bao be a better choice? Or do we think we could lure Dan to talk to vis or DIB online so that they can tell him what a mistake he's making? Writing another task for Flora may not be the best choice. Sure she's dumb and fell for the first one, but anything too radical and I have the feeling she would doublecheck with Bao before doing anything. Too bad we don't have access to their personal pages - would make things a lot easier.

I'll keep checking the pages tonight to see if their are any new updates. Hopefully I'll be awake before the actual ceremony - there might be some sort of last minute window where we have the opportunity to save Jill. I'll also shoot off an email to vis to see if it'll do anything. I tried once before, but it can't hurt to try again.

I do have a meta question as well: do we think this is all going to end tomorrow whether or not we save Jill? And what about the six keys? If the keys are the symbols on element0.htm, then we've only found four. (Oh, and speaking of element0...did we ever figure out what the static and the face is doing in there?) Part of me feels that the ceremony is going to the climax - but there are still a bunch of unanswered questions that recusing Jill isn't going to answer. But then, since I hate answering meta questions as much as the next person, don't feel you have to answer this part Very Happy

Actually, I contacted Charon on the matter.

Remember the btwhefixedhisemail bit? I guessed that it meant Charon's e-mail, but I had nothing to really send until yesterday - at which point I asked him just that (We've got the police on his tail, we've sent Floralia on an interview with enough rope to hang herself - can you, I dunno, smack the police in the head?)

His response, received this morning (after calling to re-establish my cable connection - for some reason yesterday around 6:30P.M. , I was no longer in my first clan match, and no longer on the net, for that matter):
