Agatha Dobbs re: Book Stangeness & Investigation

I was very happy to hear from you again. I've really come to enjoy and look forward to the messages I've been receiving from people outside Aglaura, like you. It's a welcome break from the craziness going on around here lately. Even these "paranormal events" are no longer fun or amusing. They've somehow taken on a frightening or slightly menacing air too, as the whole town seems to be growing more edgy and unsettled with each passing day. And not just from the strange events either. You see, I'm not sure how much you know about what's going on in Aglaura outside your interest in the Library, or about the Burlington County area in general, but there is an investigation of sorts going on, almost a social and political witch-hunt it seems to me. It really isn't about Aglaura at all; it has to do with a New Jersey company (that's NORTH New Jersey, thank you) called Marzano Enterprises and it seems that our wonderful little town is about to be dragged into the whole sordid mess because a Marzano subsidiary was chosen to re-model the Library building. I just don't understand the whole thing. But I know that my son, Pat, the Mayor, is on the edge of a nervous breakdown over the whole thing. I'm sorry if I don't seem my usual cheery self in this message. Please understand that it's just the circumstances and events around here lately. I'll ask Sam Greene about pictures again of the areas where the books seemed to be in patterns. He may have some from the security cameras that had been installed not too long ago.

It might be interesting to identify all buildings and projects that the Marzano's construction company has been involved with in Aglaura. I wonder if a pattern might emerge?! Seems like a question for Sam.

Thoughts?

Circles and stars, oh my!

I got essentially the same letter kimer did with this significant addition:
Quote:

Oh yes, about your questions. As far as the books in the Library are concerned,
they did appear to be in some distinctive patterns in some cases. The ones that
stood out to me were primarily circular, although I do believe there were some
vaguely star-like patterns
as well.

Bolded for emphasis.
