digi IF you have time, it would be good to go back and read everything you can find on AWARE. Something tells me we'll need to know the backstory.

Two things -
First, any idea when registration is gonna go up?
Second, can someone give me a quick run down on the plot of the first AWARE? The guide is...verbose. To say the least.

On this page: http://deaddrop.us/wiki/index.php/AWARE_Wikie_Guide , click through to the game summary and game chronology links. That should get you fairly well oriented.

Ok Baelfael Here's what you should do. Head over to metaunlimited and send off an email so you gets a sponsor who will help you with this stuff.
No idea on registration but they are taking BTS workers.
TO answer your second question, here's the gist of AWARE
A company called Ideltech created an AI called TOBI. Think "Search Engine from Hell'. A group called Omniscient Eyes got involved in trying to steal Tobi. Another group called the Restorers basically saw Tobi as a Bad Idea so they stole/built a nuke and planted it in Seattle to force the guys who owned Tobi to destroy it. If I remember right, it ended with the head of OE in jail, one of the creators still left alive, I don't know what happened to the Restorers but I think the dissolved. Hope this helps. IT does help if you go back and read through the posts and whatever websites are still active. Oh, and Tobi turned out to be a hoax and a fourth group called AWARE and made up of a professor and a reporter were involved as well.

THIS was made by BlackLight (one of the AWARE players at the end) to kind of give a song version to AWARE. I don't think unless you played the game it could be much help, but maybe. I just got it today from him. Thanks BlackLight!

I got this email....
Quote:
Happy New Years Nash,
I just wanted to let you know that we have the sign-up done and people can begin registering. The game is expected to reach completion in April, but likely won't launch until Late May or early June. The video you sent us looks good and I am surprised to see all the finances for game development are in order. We have picked up some advertisers to help supplement some cost and should add to the effect of the realism. Wish the people at Real World Gaming a Happy New Year.
