 		Okay. I might change plans slightly and park in Silver Spring instead, as I want to head further south after we're done. Contemplating driving into DC again to find parking, but I tend to avoid driving into DC whenever possible >.>

Although it was fun driving around aimlessly (read: lost) for the two hours after the Union Station axons and before the Georgetown Cinema axons that one time I -did- drive into DC...

 		Photos of today. The one at dinner came out -really- dark. x_X Thanks to Cortana for resizing/cropping for me!

EDIT: Summary of today's events... Kristen had quite a few amusing stories about doing the live calls from her house, phoned into the calling system and connected to Elan and Jane via IM. Lots of good times had, and it was especially nice to meet CoffeeJedi, Autumn, Dasro Kast, and his significant other whose name and relationship escapes me completely. ^^;; (I'm really bad with names, so I apologize x_X)

Spent a good four hours outside the restaurant, and briefly visited the phone bank at Union Station where most of the calls were taken. The vending machine there still says "Spartan Power". =p

It was really fun talking with Kristen, and I would certainly like to keep in touch.

Well, when we got to see the now-infamous "Spartan Power" vending machine, the payphone right next to us rang. Autumn nearly jumped out of her skin! Kristen just stepped back and stared, however, most of noticed Cortana standing there with his hand in his pocket and a $h!7-eating grin on his face!

Kristen said that Sean Stewart took the "children releasing all the balloons" pic that i posted and sent it to her, and she was really touched (fanboy sigh)

I also got to sit next to Kristen when she held this phone conversation with Chappy: (this is only her side of course)

 		Thanks to everyone for being so hospitable! I had so much fun meeting you guys, and I know my girlfriend Kristin had a good time even though she didn't have a clue what we were talking about most of the time. Special thanks to Ian and Silrn for letting us hang out at their house for a while, too. All of you guys rock!

oh yeah, and the spartan power machine rocked! Smile.
