[SPEC] Random Academy Bits

New to ARG too so hope that I'm barking up the right tree. Two things to throw into the pot: John Napier (e) and the Bruno Plache Stadium (Taversen). Also AH flikkr - view of London skyline.

Confused

Edit: Welcome to the boards fimacmo. When posting a topic, remember to search and read to make sure you are posting in the correct place. What you have written could be placed into another easily.

Also the topic title does not tell people what it is actually about and therefore defeats the point of the topic, so remember to write a meaningful name and label it too.

driving me slighlty mad

I'm sure that my ideas are just cluthcing at straws really but as you have probably seen if you google taversen not much comes up. Some stuff about lighting rigs but also a history of the Bruno Plache Stadium. My german is virtually non-existent and the google translation is not v helpful but the word is there. I thought perhaps it was a district of Leipzig. Don't know how this would help though.

The stuff about Napier is more plausible. Invented logarithms, Napier's constant (e), Napier's Bones and was involved in a hunt for Templar treasure amongst other things. More stuff on Napier and Dodgson (lewis Carroll Idea ) here http://www.mathnature.com/algebra/projects/individual.htm

Have to point out that I'm a maths dunce - numbers just blur into one another if you go above about three digits - but Napiers bone look a bit like the strings of numbers but then perhaps strings of numbers just look like other strings of numbers.

the most probable reason why the stadium in leipzig is mentioned is because "tRaversen" is a german word for "cross-beam". it is probably misspelled on the website....
