Ok, this is a huge long-shot, but I found the following photo:

That's in the Latimer Road area. (see http://www.starfury.demon.co.uk/uground/cutncover.html ~1/2 way down.) Now imagine the view from one of the tall towers, up a bit higher than in this photo. We've got at least four buildings (one partially obscured) which look to be the right size and shape (the bumps on top, in particular) as those on the PerplexCity site. We've got a building which appears to be approximately the same shape and position as the rectangular one in PC. And the additional buildings in the distance on PC could easily be accounted for by both the change in position and the altitude.

Anyone want to go scale that building and check it out? Wink

EDIT: One problem is that the shorter rectangular building looks like it's probably on the wrong side of the towers, i.e. closer to the foreground of the photo. But it's too blurry to be sure.

Good technique I agree.

(I so hope it takes place in London - from a selfish Londoner)

Well, seeing as a phone call to, saaaay, Yorkshire *cough* probably won't cost a significant amount more it'd be nice if there was occasionally stuff for those of us outside London to do. I wanna receive weird phone-calls from strangers damnit! Smile

I think that this may help us in finding the location of the first picture.

The link is to a site which has a list of tall buildings in london, there aren't that many so it would be possible to narrow down the list to a handful and then check out info, and ultimately, the area.

London?

To leap in with a different view...

...I'm not sure that it matters exactly what the buildings picture is of, merely that it is a scene or view. I'm thinking that the focal points of each of the pictures in series gives the message.

I think IndexB translates as (L to R, T to B)

1. The setting (or scene, or the action or something)
2. and location
3. Of the cube (or cubes)
4. Is London.
5. Sente
6. Will be in contact

It's the eqivalent of what the postcard, and everything else has be saying so far...with a little snippet of extra information suggesting things are going to unfold in London. The skyline photo doesn't have to be of London in order to get this message across.

What do you reckon?

I reckon that's about right. London is probably key, and at some point 'One Taversen Square' may become important, but I think that's it for now.

IndexB/London/Towerblocks

There's something that confuses me about IndexB. We have the picture of the skyline that strongly resembles London, to those of us that know the place, but there is also the £50 note with London written on it. If I wanted to indicate London I would have shown the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye maybe but instead we have 2 cryptic pictures that point towards London. I can't help but wonder if there is an actual location we need to visit to progress things, perhaps wherever the pic was taken from. (Timair mentioned they'd seen a job based in Clapham working on such a project). I've been looking at some pics I took from the London Eye, some time ago, and trying to find the Towerblocks and I enclose them as attachments in the hope that someone might spot something. I know my theory may be totally wrong but anything is possible. The 1st pic 'londoneye6' faces to the South of the city, the other pic 'londoneye9' faces West.

I think I may have found the buildings that look very much like the ones on the site.

The building on the bottom left looks like the building from which the photo was taken, and the other buildings spread across the top look very much like the tall buildings in the background in photo from the site.
