BTW, I'm not sure if I mentioned or not - I took some of the video footage and abandoned building pictures in Whittier, Alaska. You can see the originals here and here. The building is a WWII era structure, abandoned since 1960. There are stalactites on the ceiling from water drips.

The building originally housed all the residents of Whittier, but they got nicer digs at the Begich condos. There's talk of turning the Buckner building into a 5 star resort.

I want to stay in room 055.
