 		Make Poverty History
This year, a new campaign is underway to make a stand against poverty. You can get details at the website: www.makepovertyhistory.org. We need to support it.

makepovertyhistory is asking everyone to show their support by wearing the special whitebands available online and elsewhere. Please don't ignore this - and don't get one only for yourself! Get some for your friends, family and colleagues. If you have a website, you can put a band on that with the javascript code. If anyone you know has a website, get them to put a band on theirs.

Although the website is principally aimed at UK residents, poverty is a world-wide issue, and I think that this campaign should be given world-wide support.

Spread the word, let's Make Poverty History!
