[UPDATE][SPEC] Changes on /tesseract//IRC Chat with Josh

Warning, this is a long one. Instead of putting a spoiler tag on the whole thing I'm just going to warn you: SPOILERS AHEAD.

So we have all these creepy changes on the /tesseract site. Lots of photoshopped pics and hidden messages.

The following are some of the things found. All of them have to do with Julius Caesar:

On IU--

Actually, the clocks seem to be in the semaphore aphabet that Kitten tried before. It now reads

We got talking about these changes, particularly the bear mountain resort site:

Well, we'll answer that in a second...

So we have a second log of a conversation between Cleopatra and brutus, clocks spelling out brutus in semiphore, and a key puzzle on a pic of Vanessa. (the girl VR was cheating Alyssa with)

The key puzzle solution is:

Why did vic do all of this to the old site? He's telling us who killed him through allegory: The story of Julius Caesar.

We've come to the conclusion that these are definite parallels to the story of the death of Julius Caesar.

I lied. I did some more research and have found that she cheated on Caesar with Marc. That just flipped this thing upside down.

Marc Antony was Caesar's most trusted friend and he defended him every way he could. However, Caesar was stabbed to death by Brutus and his men.

So we think Vic is labeling the players in his last days.

Caesar --> Vic
Marc Antony --> Vanessa
Brutus --> ???
Cleopatra --> ???

Brutus is spelled out through semiphore on the clock page, but if Vanessa is Marc Antony, who is Brutus?

The clock maker?

We're still not sure who Brutus or Cleopatra is, but Josh is going to do some investigation in appleharbor this week.

Well, there you have it. Who knows what we'll find out tomorrow, or what Josh will find out from Vic tonight.

Did more research. Cleopatra hooked up with Caesar with Marc after Caesar died.

So who is Cleopatra?

So I was looking at the first conversation we found between Cleopatra and Brutus:

So we know if VR is Caesar that Brutus and Cleopatra conspired to kill Caesar, except I don't know how historically sound that is. From what I know and have read there isn't anything on Cleopatra being in on Caesar's murder.

As for Vic's partners -- some people have pointed out that they look a
bit distorted in the newest version of the webpage you found. Turns
out they weren't all that fond of Dr. V either -- there's rumors they
wanted him out of the practice, except he brought in three times as
many clients.

That's about all I could get for now. If you have any other ideas,
let me know and I'll see what I can dig up.

One last note: I want to thank you all for sending me quite a nice
detailed lesson on the history of the nicknames we see in the chat
logs. Cleopatra, Brutus, Caesar and Marc Antony were all from around
the same time period. It's possible that they're karmically symbolic
of what happened. It's also possible that they're just a strange
coincidence. Either way, your work is much appreciated!

I'm sticking with my spec that Brutus may be one of Vic's coworkers. The story fits too well.

Maybe we're getting close to solving this case?
