music i too think the cerberus-music link may be worth exploring... after all the game mentions after dark 04 a lot, and stella always sponsor music. mythically, cerberus can be put to sleep with the right music.
the question is- is this too much like a harry potter film?
if not, what music do you 'play' and how do you'play' it.
personally, the after dark thing MUST mean something, if not now, then later on in the game.
we should try entering in names of bands/ titles of songs into the cerberus protected sites.

isn't music a code itself?
I know that you can write music in combinations of letters and numbers (perfect combination for a password eey ), just don't ask me how.
Maybe there are people with musical talents that have an idea?
ideas for bands to enter: the bazookas?
i still don't know what to do with there site (where jon is mentioned)

Saw a little bit of Eyes wide shut the other day and the password for getting inte the house in the movie is fidelio. Unfortunately I had to leave after that so I didn't see the whole movie, have anyone else checked the movie if there's any clues in it? Did a search but didn't find anything perhaps some hints would pop up if someone saw it.
btw I suck at english. I'm from Sweden

Eyes wide shut... hm..
i've seen the movie like 10 times or so, can't seem to think of any simmilarities,
except that he tries (with the password fidelio) to get inside an organisation, where he's not supposed to be a member of. Except this is a sex-organisation, let's assume that's not a simmilarity
I'll see it agian...
by the way, it wouldn't be good news, cause he get's discovered and olmaost killed

not too sure about the sex thing....
if you read Dan Brown,
then you find that satanism and paganism, whit all its symbols meanings etc etc etc is just a way of the catholic church to let older religions be shown in a bad light.....
sex is nowadays a nottospeakof topic (except perhaps holland hehe)
but in pagan worshipping it is the highest level of divinity.....the unification of male and female.....
i know this is off topic...so continue reading if you are interested in the da vinci topic.....

"fidelio" (from the Latin root "fidelis" meaning "faithful") refers to Beethoven's only opera, "Fidelio". In the opera, Fidelio is a woman who disguises herself as a man to save her lover.
i found this while checking eyes wide shut.

Anybody knows anything about E. Starr, quoted on the Sable + Shuck site?

cerberus I think that getting past Cerberus is the only thing we have a chance at before the 20th (or whenever the PMs decide to grace us with a clue) On that note, there were some interesting things on the Cerberus Wikipedia page .
Cerberus (or Kerberos) is the name of an FTP server (http://www.cerberusftp.com/ ). Doesn't seem very significant, but oh well.
Cerberus has been defeated several times in mythology - twice by being to sleep with drugged honeycakes, once by being put to sleep with water from the river Lethe, once by being played to sleep by Orpheus. He was also 'defeated' by Hercules, who asked Hades to borrow him . Perhaps a clue to go straight to the source?
Most interestingly, in Spanish, cancerbero apparently means goalkeeper, as in a soccer (football) match. With all the discussion about the mezzanine password being a combo of Jon's favorite soccer team and something, maybe this enters into it?
Just a few things to ponder while we wait for the next clue.

It's probably Estelle Starr, who's quoted in the Hornchurch Star article about the weirdness at the cross roads. She dismisses said weirdness as "probably a weather balloon" (or something to that effect), which would make sense if she's sold her soul and is in league with the devil.

Wayback I also am very curious about the wayback machine. Has it been used for a solve yet? I tried searching, but it seems that no one has used it thus far for anything. I doubt it would be mentioned in the journal if it was completely useless-there have been many red herrings, but none in sites Jon specifically mentioned. I have a feeling this is going to become important, if it hasn't already. But how?

wayback machine Hello,
Regarding the wayback machine: I also searched for all ingame sites and only found the following...
http://web.archive.org/web/20020120233316/http://goldenfuturesandoptions.com/
Appearantly the domain goldenfuturesandoptions.com was used before...
Maybe there's a password to be found on those pages?
Cheers,
Slowzone
