Looks like this person has posted 3 others at this site.

The post of interest is "Lost and Found: 'The Cube' Return it. May you suceed where I and my colleagues have failed Phone Sente on Perplex City Academy 77589 (Insaniac)"

I don't have a clue about the "Jobs: Government Agent" listing. Is this a Brittish inside joke?

The poster lists a different number for each one.

The one about Indonesia is just tasteless, which makes me think that it's an ARGer, not a PM.

Also note that this is the exact same text at the bottom of the letter on www.perplexcity.com

so, just to be sure, let's list all the numbers found... so far, for Isaniac:
58498
77589

I'm guessing if it's IG, somehow it'll point to the website as YARH Smile
(except for the note also that 'suceed' is misspelled)

Signed up at perplexcity.com

After signing up, I received the quote:

"Patience is a necessary ingredient of genius."

Which is a quote by Benjamin Disraeli. Disraeli was the first and only Jewish Prime Minister of England. Don't know if that has any relevance.

I found a similar post by Kree in another forum (I think?) and didn't know if anyone had found anything related.

Well - I've decided to hop onto this ARG... after ILB I need something that constantly torments me on a mental level Smile

One question - has the game ACTUALLY started yet - I mean I know there's pregame blah blah blah - but has the actual mystery and intrigue started?

I also realize that the original projectsyzygy.com now says that it's complete... I guess that means the gathering of Sente's personelle is complete and now we're going to collaborate with them to help find the cube's captor Smile

(Sorry for the trout, I just pray someone will correct me if I'm wrong Smile)

No one has been emailed yet, right? I am assuming that we will get an email to kick it all off. But who knows? Cool

regarding insaniac: heres the URL to his profile on thespod:
http://www.thespod.com/profile.php?u=Insaniac.

you can send him a note on this page: http://www.thespod.com/userList.php - requires login though. maybe someone wishes to register and ask him what he's up to?

question: do ppl think it's oog (for the newbies: out of game, hello btw)? if not, maybe we should have a separate thread?

edit: about those numbers - strangely enough, they are not the same in his profile as on the main page.

I definitely think it's OOG. The "The Educated Aider of Child Hereditary Education Redemption" bit in the government jobs one just spells TEACHER. And I agree, the Indonesia one is horrible.

i agree, it does say its all in jest at the bottom. (and bad taste at that) i think its just someone trying to draw attention to themselves, when they are in no way related to the game. looks out of game to me.
