A quick thought...about InfernoCargo Know that Jon is into Football.. but NHL? On the Aircraft in the Inferno-fleet-flash there is a Detroit Red Wings-symbol on the side. Any ideas? Thereīs also a number on the "Tail" of the Aircraft. Canīt see it completely though..
Sorry ībout the grammar. Swede......

the number on the tail has already been noticed and refers to stella's founding year

1587622319 I think 1587622319 is another red herring.
ISBN 1587622319 is a book about advertising tactics!

Which has been mentioned on this forum only about 5000 times yet, so thanks for bringing that particular piece of non-information back again

Mac
you have been/STILL ARE a great asset to this game, and have followed all the rules.... searched before posting etc, and I know it's frustrating to keep reading repeat posts.... but.....
it is nice that new peeps are joining, and it is hard if someone is a newbie to join this late in the game...
luckily I discovered this game fairly early, so have kept abreast of things - which can still be quite hard to do with the amount of new posts & even now i keep expecting someone to flame or trout me.... (didn;t even know what those phrases meant a few weeks ago)
Would hate to think that I'm a boring "goody 2 shoes" (I admit that i do misinterpret some humorous quips (my age ) but I think that really, deep deep down, you would also like to welcome Flo to the forum - as our Flo may yet solve some of those tricksie puzzles
we don't want to scare peoples away......
luv alco

Re: 1587622319 Hi Flo - welcome!
What Mac should have done - this time as well as on earlier occasions - was to "trout" you for posting information that has been posted before.
See this Glossary for info about "trout"

Mac... I strongly believe that your sources are incorrect.
Try the search-field and you will see that it is not mentioned 5000 times.
And whenever you find the time for it - maybe you could please buy yourself a new pair of shoes? The ones you are wearing are definitely more than one size smaller than they ought to be.
If you need a target... I'm right here, and I'll be happy to help.
I actually mean it.

heh no need to be aggressive there, mac.
i'm not a newbie to mesage boards in general, and i did use the search box first, and also checked the wiki guide.
i've checked the glossary but am still wondering about the origins of 'trout', the irc slap by any chance?

OK Flo... this is for you
And I repeat:
Now all you have to do is click on the word that is in bold writing up there and look for the word TROUT

yup, i read it, it doesn't say why 'trout', and not another random word, was chosen though...
but the irc slap sounds quite obvious, it was a silly question.

Personally I feel that the bonus trout is redundant given that you already trouted flo and as such it should be trouted.
Seriously though, you're totally right about bearing with noobs; let's all try to follow Maria's advice and play nice, huh?

I assume that you know that I mean the Aeroplane in IC:s Folder Fleet , Flash Inferno fleet in the 3-4th picture in the slideshow. That starts with N7 something.. press replay and zoom in a little bit. As well as the symbol for the Red Wings....
..I am not referring to S1366A....at Trident Air Site...

i checked the tailnumber, couldnt find it in any database...
but that is because i couldnt get it decyphered to N 7388??
i know it is an Fairchild C-123 provider.
there arent many flying in these days, approx 40 at least possibilities....
they are used a lot in movies. so perhaps they took a still from one movie and used it for their site.
http://www.warbirdalley.com/c123.htm
on this website you will find the details of the aircraft, and there is stated also that it is used mainly in advertising.
Quote:
Today, surplus C-123s are popular with small freight companies throughout the Americas, and a few are even found on the warbird circuit. Several are repeatedly used in television advertising and movies when the need arises for the representation of a large, generic military cargo aircraft.
well, so that is the evidence. dont know if it is ingame....guess it is just nothing for the game, just a coincidence.......
but i will track the plane down, hopefully. i would not be surprised if it is used by stella artois somewhere in the world......that is america, for its lowrange fueltanks.....
edit/
just found out that the N means that the plane is registred in The USA...no other country possible....
then follow three numbers 738
and then there MUST be 2 Letters, could anybody find out what these letters are, i think RN, but am not sure....
this can be important, coz the last two letters give me the company name.... if it was infernocargo, then the last two letters would have been IF
same for sable+shuck: SS
please find out the letters, im not good enough with flash to find it....

well, i think i have found the aircraft! maybe....
on this website, all serials numbers and tailnumbers from still flying C-123 Providers are listed....
i have written emails to all the american companies (the ones starting with N.......)
http://www.oldprops.f9.co.uk/C123%20Census.htm
i hope they will write me back soon, coz i asked them to sent pictures of the airplanes.... my best guess is that one of the companies will show up a pic with the same colorschemes as the one on inferno cargo....
dont know if it will help, but as an airplanemaniac myself, i think of it as a subquest in this game
now, lets do the waiting for their replies
