I asked angie if she could find out any family history. If and when any change in fortune....specing don had contact with the wish earlier.

Pam,
Really quick, before Frank gets here. I'm sorry, but my mom didn't seem
interested in her family history and never shared any historical data
with me.
The only grandparents I knew while growing up were my Abba and Ema (my
dad's
parents, and my Nani - greatgrandmother). While Uncle Don welcomed me
into his
family and gave me a great job after college, he hasn't shown me
anything about
his side of the family. At this point, I'm not about to start asking.
Perhaps
you could try one of those geneological archives online?
Angie

i tried the online genealogical archives so far and have come up blank. Maybe someone else out there will have better luck.

There is, of course, a little more about the family history on the SODC page.

Since Angie mentioned using a geneological archive, this might be a clue to find something important. These may be starting points for someone willing to do a little more research:

Ironically, what showed up in my bulk email folder this morning, but a spam for Ancestry.com, offering to trace my family tree wit a 14-day free trial.
