Re: quote

seems to attribute a quote incorrectly to Lewis Carroll.

I think Yogi Berra said "If you don't know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else."

What Lewis Carroll said is "If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there." from Alice in Wonderland

Depends where you google - it looks like the quote on the webpage was attributed to Carroll as well.

And Rose - /place is just one of the answers to /meeting <grin>

google is not my friend

Some sites may attribute the ridiculous sentence "if you don't know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else" to Lewis Carroll - but I have yet to find the reference where that quotation actually appears- so I suspect those sites are just plain incorrect in their attribution of that quotation to him. I admit I was working from memory not google (which failed us all so badly in the urns contest, but that is another story.)

Edit: Sin if you mean /time I got that one too. Thank you for spelling it out for us in your chart. Very Happy

We were sooo close to having the answer. Thank goodness for hints.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The solve was supposed to be: take the PACIFYWINHISUP, run it through the memoriatechnia primer and get 71429867, then take the first letters of each number to get "softness" (seven one four etc...).

Our little hint (which has since been removed) was "seven one four two nine eight six seven" written underneath the "years in the past" line.

That's great! Laughing

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If this had been an actual, full scale ARG, you would now be meeting the person or entity behind the www.errantmemory.com website.
