I thought it was a pretty funny little thing they put in, but I didn't beleive it. Though, the mysterious conditions give question.

Maybe the person that supposedly 'turned out' the servers was just in the room when adramelech did it, and his memory was wiped. He, feleing guilty, eventually thought that he did it, (Like in the magicians nephew), and confessed. Adramelech had released his grip, and the 12 had covered up the incident on he LJ servers by the time that they had found the 'problem'.
