over 18

well,

every ingame site is "over 18", 'cause stella sells beer. the sites
www.alephstar.com en www.tyrellcorp.homechoice.co.uk have no warning for the young. so i don't think it is ingame.

by the way, "stella" means "from the stars"!

i don't think the alephstar site is ingame. i think the answer lies in jacob's wheel, particularly in what meak said earlier about 'aleph-kaph' being the 34th gate of uranus.

thing is, even if this is the right information and katzaziel is the information we need (katzaziel being the angel that aleph-kaph refers to), what do we do with it?

what are the usual channels that we have to contact jon through?

-------------------------------------------

another thought, i searched for katzaziel on google and it only came up with two sites, one of which was posted earlier and another that gives a 'brief' introduction to the 'ophanim angels of jacob's wheel.'

on this site, it refer to the outer ring of jacob's wheel as 'alef' or 'air.'

not sure where that takes you, but interesting to note none the less.

I googled "Know thyself..." and came across this site:

http://astrology.about.com/cs/basics/l/aa100102a.htm

Some qoutes from the article:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
However, according to the ancient historian Plutarch, "Know Thyself" was originally the admonition "Gnothi se auton" ("Know Thyself") inscribed on the Sun god Apollo's Oracle of Delphi temple in ancient Greece.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Apollo killed the Python of Delphi and took over that oracle, so he is vanquisher of unconscious terrors. He is golden-haired like the sun; he is an archer who shoots arrows of insight and/or death; he is a god of music and the lyre.

Don't know if it has anything to do with the Aleph search etc. But i find it rather coincidence that this frase also links to astrology...
The last one, because it links to the question 'how to bypass cerberus'

two things

About the "aleph meets Star" question, I think that Meak has come out with the best idea so far: Uranus gates+Sun. Nonetheless I wouldn't discard any other theory at the moment, expecially the Aldebaran hypothesis. Anyway, in both cases there's still a problem: we're supposed to find out "WHERE the Aleph meets the star". And nothing so far is pointing at a "place" of any kind. Is it possible that astronomical coordinates are involved?

And another thing: maybe it will turn out to be irrelevant, but I'm still perplexed about the "morve adu" or what-the-hell-it-is part of the voice message. None of the possible spellings of this thing makes any sense: no bell ringing, no relevant matches on google. Any idea? Maybe we should start a new thread if somebody else thinks that it's some kind of hint.

M.

morve adu

unfortunately, i don't have a sound card on this particular machine so I could listen to the message. But from what I'm reading here, my first attempt would be to run all the different possible spellings of this morve adu through a translator and start with Latin to english.
I'll give it a go, but i'd recommend that others who have actually heard the thing try it, too.

look.
here's a star, with an aleph in the middle

Gate number : 34
Gate name: Aleph-Kaph
Uranus-Sun guarded by Katzaziel

The aleph is 'bridging' the sun (a star!)

Also:
I think it's odd that jon says

I need to find out where THE aleph meets the star, to repeat
where AN aleph meets the star

why does he change that word?

And:
I really think it sounds like he says ' I'm currently researching a lead on the more the do'.

Hears a .wav file of that one phrase, so you can listen to it closely.
http://www.fuggled.co.uk/themorethedo.wav
I tried reversing it, but it doesn't make sense that way

30th April

I think that Stumpelgeo has a point with the 30th April as it is referred to in the Borges story and as the date of S&S's anniversary.

Not sure what the point is though!

Pentagram?

I've been doing a lot (probably too much) searching regarding aleph and star, and have interestingly enough found quite a bit of information connecting aleph with pentagrams (five pointed star).

A pentagram is made up of 5 intertwined A's (or alephs).
There is also an Aleph ritual which is done with the pentagram.

Historically, the pentagram has been associated with satanic rituals, but I'm not really informed about satanism or witchcraft, so these leads are getting me pretty much nowhere. Maybe someone who knows more could continue....?

good work

i also found that if you spell aleph like this : ALEF
and search for it, you come up with the star of david, a deeply symbolical star for judaism.

if you read further, then there is more interesting things....on page two you will find:

Quote:
"If thou knowest thyself well, thou art better and more praiseworthy before God, than if thou didst not know thyself, but didst understand the course of the heavens and of all the planets and stars, also the dispositions of all mankind, also the nature of all beasts, and, in such matters, hadst all the skill of all who are in heaven and on earth. For it is said, there came a voice from heaven, saying, 'Man, know thyself.' Thus that proverb is still true, 'Going out were never so good, but staying at home were much better.'" (short excerpt from the "Theologia Germanica," Chapter 9, Author Unknown, 1516. The "Theologia Germanica," discovered and published by Martin Luther, was extolled by Luther as being one of the important books ever written.)

Quote:
"Knowing Thyself" and "learning how to be who you are" sounds deceptively simple doesn't it? So how are you doing so far? Unfortunately, life doesn't come with an owner's manual included in the box. Heck... tell the truth... even if life did come with a manual in the box, we probably wouldn't read it. We'd all be waiting for it to come out on video. Having its birth in ancient Greece, horoscopic astrology is an ancient oracular tool that can in modern times support each one of us in the ancient task of "Knowing Thyself."

At it's best, astrology (like the Oracle of Delphi) is one of many tools that can assist us in the task of becoming aligned with our destiny. Astrology's "map of the soul" (owner's manual) provides each one of us with a map of our inborn potentials and then shows how these inborn potentials will (sooner or later) seek to systemically unfold over the course of our lifetime. As such, in our modern world - too often devoid of meaning - astrology can assist us in purposes of meaning, purpose, self-discovery, soul growth, and being "brought to completion."

especially the last few sentences is, i think, important....

it can give us clues how to get 100% soulworth

in pagan worshipping, the pentagram, and the star of david, the figures symbolise the perfect mix of female and male stuff.....

because the female symbol is \/ (representing a womb) and the male symbol is /\ (a phallis) all symbols connected with these forms are seen as pure, the most devine of all......

as incredible as it may sound, D. Brown's the da vinci code is FULL with it!
that is where i got the information from.

here is a short explanation on the pentacle and other forms....

Don't know if it's relevant, but the pentagram and satanic happenings (or evil happenings) is in reality (according to wicca or witchcraft) a misnomer. The pentagram in wiccan is actually a symbol for safety: a means of protecting oneself from evil. Popular media just attaches the pentagram to all witchcraft and thus popularizes it as a "bad" symbol. Just as an FYI.

the pentagram also contains the golden ratio.
it has many different meanings. it is also known as the "pentalpha", being constructed from 5 A´s, or alpha. alas, alpha is not quite the same al aleph...

thanks

Thanks for the info, Misfitt. If nothing else, this game is making us more educated through all of the research we're doing.
