Tanner,

Just wanted to mention that the PPC tune was quite catchy, and I liked the fade out at the end... very professional sounding! Very Happy

I think everyone who's on this "mission" (!) should have that as their ringtone... could be amusing if that went off on a bus and you were sitting behind them... *knowing smiles* Smile
Also, great piece and nicely put together too!

v - Sorry. I just thought it was amusing more than anything else.

Think I'll stick with (the original, not poor polyphonic) ace of spades.
PPC has already consumed too much of my life without strangers getting exited when my phone rings.

Think I've fallen flat on the postcard. Was using a clock face with the letters written around it. Then pairing up that number could get various things but nothing really sensible. Only thing was wwwinkmen which when corrected to a web address showed me where to buy cheap ink cartridges. No real help there.
Can't help feeling a bit deflated about it. If anybody wants to see what i was doing will post for you but unless anyone asks, I can't be arsed.
Sniff and sob Sad

Could the long code number thing be phone-letter codes (2=ab or c, 3=de or f, etc.)?

I think we tried that one already?? (Sorry, I'm not sure as I can't catch up on every thread)

Regardless of that - the "ringtone" is pretty catchy after you listen to it like 5 times... now it's stuck in my head!!! Evil or Very Mad

Look back 2 or 3 pages - tried T9 and multitap but all gibberish

I noticed that there were no 9s in that string which originally lead me to belive that it was octal, then I saw an 8. However there are no 7s either. Who knows?

Another thing... has anyone tried dividing the long number by 2210? I haven't but that will be next.

ln(221545484848465100503215) = 53.75491487

537-549-1487 doen't work as a phone number. However, could this be one part of a GPS coordinate (5375491487)?

Or could it be split in half to make both parts of a GPS coordinate?

I just had a weird idea...

could the 2210 be a quick text number...

you know like 8181 is for yipee!

and all we have to do is text the number underneath the semacode to 2210...?

Here is a base converter for the general use (saves calculator typing). So if you're bored on a saturday night, just go wild.

221545484848 = Somewhere in the middle of Saudi Arabia
465100503215 = Somewhere on the Coast of Kazakhstan
