There is a LOT of information and not much can be skipped really...
So - read it all... even the topics that are locked, extremely long threads and what looks unimportant, too.
5: Before posting anything you think is new information, please use the search-field (icon placed in top right corner of the page) to see if this is "old news". These games are not meant to be "played and won" in just a few hours anyway, so there's no need to hurry.
What more could I have done without sounding condescending?

I'd just like to say thanks a lot to Seej. I'm new to unfiction.com, Sable & Shuck, and... well, really all ARG gaming. I don't know what I've gotten myself into, but it looks like a hell of a fun ride. Anyway, thanks for writing this... Helps 'noobs' like myself out a lot.
Oh, and... hello to everyone!

PS Slithy, I love your avatar... 'Twas brilling, and the slithy toves/did grye and gimbol in the wabe/all mimsy were the borogroves/and the momeraths outgabe.' It did run something like that, didn't it? I don't have the book in front of me at the moment, so that's as close as I can come for now.
PPS When it says you have to be 'over 18 to help locate Jon and be eligible for the finder's reward'... I'm assuming that there won't be an actual reward... Therefore, age doesn't really matter, does it? (Sorry that was the most awkward and stupid question in the universe )

i think the age thing is more related to the drinking age in the UK. (18 )
seeing as this game is a whole viral thing for Stella Artois, there may well be beer involved at some point, and therefore, as a company, they need to check that no minors take part.
that and 'selling your soul' is something only conesenting adults should be doing

So... What now. I have read all of the plot developments and such thus far. But I am still in the dark as to where to start? What can I do to start helping our and playing? What puzzles are we currently solving, or are we waiting for something new?

Around midnight (could be a little later) you'll get a followup-mail with an unique Sable & Shuck login-code...
Once you have logged into S&S' exclusive area, they will be able to begin the next stage of your acquisition... They will measure the worth of your soul!
(You can still play this game, although it's already past its deadline...)

NEW NEW NEW
That would be me. New to ARG and this site. stumbled across the hiding room on a puzzlesite in the "escape the room" section. Well we all know its not one of those but it got me here so its a good thing.
Question: Is this one dead or are 'we' still able to solve this? ... theoretically speaking of course. Some links seem to have been terminated (and no, I don't mean the advertisements in the Hornchurch star, good hint btw )
iow: do you need the links to real sites like bbc.co.uk and witchesfest to actually solve anything?
