Unsuccesfull Passwords

oilbeefhooked - doesn't work in the mezzanine door, or Jon's cache, or Jon's contract; this group of sought-after passwords can hereforth be referred to as "the axes of Jon". haha...sorry, got a bit carried away.

Very Happy **she laughs** Very Happy

Though I do think you have a point. So here's the new topic. I checked the words on the back of the familyphoto: no passwords either.

Good idea to open this new topic, although it can be dangerous, since it seems that the PMs can update the site, so that a password can become enabled from a certain point in time. If such a password then is listed here as not working, it might be overlooked in a next episode.

Nonetheless, my guess at this point of time is that we need a new password for the cache, which is based upone 'when aleph meets star'. Considering the previous cache passwords it is tempting to think that it should be 6 digits and Latin, although I wouldn't bet on that.

I have tried all possible combinations of aleph (alef) and star(r) on the cache password, but they didn't work. Also the passowrds Stella and Artois (also the combination) give no result.
Lastly I tried Uranus, which seemed one of the more plausible solutions from the aleph meets star thread, but alas!

As for now, I'm out of further options, but I willl keep thinking and trying.

That wouldn't make sense anyway, as Jon doesn't know where Aleph meets Starr, how could he possibly set it as a password on his own site?

passwords

freaky janice,

i onderstand you tried all the words at the back of the photo. but where did you try then? only the cache, or also at s&s and the mezzaninedoor?

i also think we must be able to find a next password (cache-november, s&s or door upstairs), so i welcome this topic!

Bethlehem

Hades
Acheron
Crossroad
Hiding
Abinit
sephirah
salomo
solomon
temple
tarot
hilberts
cfibid
ibidcf
inhere

etc etc, until i just mash the keys trying to guess something.

Way to be, Meak

That's a good list. I think this topic will prove useful.

On another, somewhat related note, there were two posts dealing with the nature of site updates and codes. One mentioned that the "try again later" message on the cache may be a notice that an update has not been created yet; the second, in this post, is that the (next) password has not been conjured up yet, as the PMs are spacing out the suspense. I would hope the PMs wouldn't follow our conversations and change things, so in the meantime we may just consider this to be a list of (possible) passwords (tried).

I had a thought:

Previously we've had to compare dates between caches to find the PIN number.
Maybe once we've found the password to Jon's contract we will have to compare childhood memories to find a new password? At least I'd expect to see details of which childhood memories he gave to S+S

Has anyone tried finding spelling differences between the ibidem and confer caches?
