One thing of interest: I forgot what I was searching on google but I found this site...

IIRC, VTI_CNF and VTI_PVT are folders generated by Frontpage. Seems kind of strange to leave those without an index.html file thus giving us directory access, but this could just as easily be a clueless admin instead of a rabbittrail.

I'll send a message to that address too -- see if he's gotten any of those C7.6 type emails.

After some more digging around through that muck, I found this site:

The page is designed so badly that it's almost suspicious. I especially like the <%@ LANGUAGE=JAVASCRIPT @%> at the top of each page.

But it doesn't appear to have any leads or anything worth following. All the links look legit, and it's got a lot of old content.

On google, I entered define: CN and came up with Core Network as the most likely definition of CN in the message. Did the same for FW and determined that Firewall is a likely candidate.

Just messing around with google, I found some interesting things about "type c7" things...

There is a power connecter or cable with the nomenclature c7.

There is a light bulb called type-C7.

There is a component on the Voyager 1& 2 space craft called C7. They are twins, by the way. And were seperated 25ys ago (wild speculation here).

Lol, well count me out, Mines the fourth one down "Mei_Veritas" and I've got close to 200 posts on mine I think...The others look like they were started by people around here looking to get in on the action...I jsut already had one.
