don't be too hard on yourself Grutte

as I said, may not be right answer... and in any event, it is hard to keep track of EVERYTHING on the forum, and sometimes the search facility isn't as flexible as google's so it doesn;t throw up what you're looking for

( no criticism of the site meant - I'm sure if the site admin peeps were paid millions of pounds, their 's would be even better than Google's Wink )

p'raps we should make a donation like it says at the bottom of screen - next pay day, or when we win the booty!

ey, good thinking.....

jon was in love with jessica, and hated the food of mr rickson, so jessica could be his daughter, that makes sense to me...

but what to do with it?

yet another probably useless SPEC

Re Mor the Do... again (or mor the Dube???)

why has jon mentioned Eilean Mor.. perhaps to focus on Scotland and scottish pronunciation of words

Mor = big, great

Dubh = Black as in "man in"

does the scottish word Dubh sound like Doove or Doobe?

which may try & make some gaellic sense to his message

.. even more nonsensical SPECS

re Jessica

Jessica & Scotland = Jessica Lange "Rob Roy" but the film came out in 1995 so too late for childhood memories

Jessica Rabbit (Bunny Brigid?? ... said it was nonsensical) but "Who framed Roger Rabbit " came out in 1988.. maybe still too late

can't think of any other significant "Jessica's" at mo

As said before:
    * There is possibly a Jessica van Helsing, greatgreatgreatgranddaughter of the Van Helsing we all know

    * According to the legend Jonathan Harkers son Jeff Harker married to a girl named Jessica
Those facts explain the use of the name Jessica... But to be honest I do not know what to do with this... Sad

I collect a type of Scottish knife called a Sgian Dubh. It is either pronounced Doo or Doob. Sgian Dubh sounds like 'skindoo' when I pronounce it.

the only anagram (of one word) i can make of the missing letters is roseland. but no idea what to do with it.

I hadn't read Tassie's earlier post so wasted time coming up with same solve!!

I do think the missing letters NOLADERS are significant as the photo hasn't been cropped, so Jon has deliberately omitted letters from message.

Also think that Roseland seems the more likely anagram, but only thing I can see when googling this is Roseland in Cornwall - can't see any links to Peel castle or Eilean Mor and it isn't the password to Mezzanine door or S&S contract
