Got home today to an letter from Raymond Gatin, together with a money order in the amount of $100 for my prize. Here's the text of the letter:

Ms. Channing,

Thank you very much for your hep. I cannot say that enough. Some communications have been made avaiabe to me that have ed to my sight understanding of how you became invoved in the cearing of my name. Due to the nature of my work and the "company" I work for, I am unabe to offer anything other than my sincer and deep-fet thanks. However, due to the very work I do, I have aso become aware of your "winner" status at a site we monitor from time to time. I was hoping to send you something more substantia but, after a few discussions with "contact", she has agreed to aow me to fund and deiver their prize. In order for her to cose the door on this aspect, pease emai contactSPLATvirtuquest.com etting her know that I have provided you with the agreed upon prize of $100 (US).

Whie this is highy unusua, please accept this knowing that your assistance was invauabe on both a persona and professiona eve.

Beieve it or not, there are sti some unresoved issues roaming about. I could certainy use outside help such as yoursef. I am currenty working to obtain ow-eve, civiian, cearance for you. Contact wi be made once this has been obtained.

The no "L" thing is interesting, the only words I could find with L's in them were PLEASE, COULD and HELP as bolded above. Assuming this is a hidden message asking for more help, and have mentioned it in my email to "contact" so I'll let you know what comes up.

Also in the envelope was a money order in the amount of $100 (US) from the Van Buren Wabash Currency Exchange in Wabash, Chicago. There was no return address on the envelope but it was postmarked Steger, IL.

I'm going to scan everything in tomorrow at work so everyone can see the stuff first-hand.

Sorry, I think the letter is massive in size, I didn't know how to shrink it. Embarassed If someone wants to do so, go ahead.
