Well, the morse code from the signal spells "NYC", but that's not the puzzle, is it?
No, it's the "puzzle"

'pita, Fest-O-Con was just an attempt to differentiate the ARG community joint vacations from formal and organized sounding things like "conventions". When travelling, this is not an organization. It's a party on wheels. Hence the fest.

Tragically, I can't make NYC, it's too far and the timing is lousy. I am sorta-kinda considering Chicago in May, though, even though I technically wasn't a Beekeeper....I wonder if I'd still be welcome?

Oh, seriously? That's sad... I was really hoping to meet you! (granted, I'm still not completely sure I'll make it there myself).

don't give up yet.. July is a long way away. How far is too far? And the timing isn't perfect for everyone...In any event, I know the Chicago hivemeet would happily welcome you.

Well, I'd be coming from Indianapolis, so Chicago is just a few hours drive whereas New York would necessitate a plane trip. Which is not totally out-of-hand -- I did, after all, make it to Orlando on a moment's notice after much kvetching and hand-wringing (and after a very kind offer on imbri's part to let me crash on her floor). I really want to come to NYC if only to meet Yanka and joebrent and some of the other Metaurchins, and of course so many of you other folks whose names I see here and who I enjoy reading on a regular basis.
Hmm. Dunno. We'll see. Like rose said, July is a long way away. Plus I've only been to Noo Yawk once before in my life, and there's a lot there that I think I need to see before I die n' stuff. Meanwhile, I am almost definitely gonna spend at least a day in Chicago for the Hivemeet, even though I don't own an Xbox and what I know about Halo could probably barely fit on the head of a nanotech chip. You Beekeepers are just TOOOO whacked out NOT to meet.

And there was much rejoicing.

It occurs to me that perhaps I should post a thread here, rather than only in the bee-haunted forums, making it clear that we welcome all ARGers and not only those with a taste for honey and grenades.
