Hey, definitely wanted to go, but the folks needed the cars. Le d'oh. SOON, though...soooooon.
ARG! If I'd have known that was the problem, I would have picked you up. I carpooled with another guy as was. Ah well, c'est la vie. Next time.

How come I never saw you at the axon at 8 mile and Haggerty?!?

Well, when that axon was listed the first time, there was another guy here claiming that axon. I exchanged some PM's with him and when the axon didn't get hot, he sent me a PM saying the phone didn't accept calls. Then the axon got hot somehow, I sent him a PM asking if he got the call and he never responded back! I assumed he was getting the calls ...

Ah, you probably talked to the guy who went to the wrong phone there.

The axon was inside of Target, and I know the first time it rang there was someone waiting at payphones outside in the parking lot.

ok, this is way OT, but i figured i'd ask here anyway
if you recall, i had some friends on with me Saturday night, well, because of company, a broken VCR and a non-set up pc, i missed the new episode of Justice League Unlimited (you know, the huge 3-series-crossover season finale that's just a love-letter to the timeline canon fanboys?)

so if ANYONE has it as a file, i'd be much obliged if i could get it Very Happy
(i've tried bittorrent, but all the torrents i've found seem to be seedless, or just empty)

Hi guys. I'd like to apologize last night for my language in that match with the cheaters...I usually try to keep my profanity to a minimum, but if there's anything I hate more than cheaters, its cheaters who want to try to smack talk like they've got "skill".

I don't want to apologize for all those fools that me, Angelo, Vector, and Ariock, (later replaceed by 4dswisscheese) beat down in our Team Slayer Rampage of death. If there's another thing that really annoys me, it's people who are getting their butts handing too them, but try to talk trash when they get their 1 kill to our 4. Angelo and I felt it was our obligation, nay duty to offer a few choice words in return. And by few, I mean "on them the whole match after they opened their mouths the first time". Which, for most of those guys, was almost as soon as the match started. And it was good.

If you're going to pick a name like "Halomaster4", you better be prepared to hear about it. And a halomaster he was not. Although this match had the funny story of Angelo continually saying "Hellboy, hey, come over here", and hellboy trying to find him while I smack him in the back of the head. I think Hellboy is still learning the inticacies of proximitiy mike, because later
Hellboy "This guy is starting to piss me off",
Angelo "What guy?"
Hellboy "That guy who keeps talking and stuff"
Angelo "I think...I'm that guy"

and proceeds to sword lunge hellboy.

All you have to do is look at our opponents names in that game.

We had a blast throwing these dudes "ghetto speak" in their faces. Oh yeah, and stonedkitty rocked it. Really. At least he didn't respond to my meowing.

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?gameID=71704074&player=Dasro%20Kast
Ahh, these guys. They were a fun bunch. Lots of MF's and B***ches from them. The funny part? It's only close because for most of the match, angelo was just running around meleeing guys.

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?gameID=71714563&player=Dasro%20Kast
These guys weren't jerks. Therefore it was a pretty quiet game. Funny how that works Wink. Everything was cool except for that weird split that placed 4d and wink11 in an alternate dimension for an epic 1 on 1 deathmatch towards the end. Weird.

We did lose one but it was okay, because they were pretty cool. Except skinnyniggz's name. What's up with that, dude?

Oh yeah, and angelo, remember those guys that said it was the first match they'd lost that night? Yeah, they were lying Wink.

BTW, twizted matt and others, sorry for ignoring your request to help you train, but we didn't have a ton of time left, and we were on a roll. What's this tournament?

Oh yeah, and guys, I checked back at the game viewer for that cheaters game, and they VERY obviously used dummying to capture at least one of their flags as seen in image 1 attached.

And the other flag cap route doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense to me as it leaves the base, but maybe I'm just imagining that. See image 2 attached.

I've already made a post on Bungie.net's cheaters forum re: this game. I know Teabagin Cheatr was the main offender (go figure), does anyone see anyone else specifically responsible?

Heh... yeah. I *almost* felt bad when going to bed thinking about how much smack talk we did, dasro...

Actually, no, no I didn't. Wink

I think I was probably the worst of our group as far as the smack talk was concerned, follow closely by Dasro (I don't think Vector, Ariock, or 4D ever joined in our mockery). I refrained from cursing, mostly. Instead I playfully jousted with sarcasm filled phrases including, but not limited too, "Who's *your* daddy now?", "TAKE IT!", "Say hello to my boom stick!", "No way, No WAY!?! I just beat down the sword guy!", "Dang I bet that hurt the ego."

Yeah. I was a jerk last night, and boy was it fun.

The one thing we did promise was that we would NEVER be the ones to start the talking, but it was one of those nights we definitely enjoyed when they made the first blunder. The one game that was extremely cordial was a nice change.

I think my favorite was the "ghetto guys" as I like to call them, where we spent most of the match running around saying "oh no he didn't" and "Oh snap!" in return to their witty commentary.

Yeah, we never gave it to anyone who didn't deserve it.

I'd be proud of the fact that you held the cheaters to only a 2-1 victory.

Hey everone. I thought of a gametype to try online. I'm trying to recreate the old school yard game "Smear the Queer". Here's my thoughts on how it should be setup and such:

Oddball with the ball carrier weak, no shields, slow, and VISIBLE.

Everyone else has plasma pistols, but really it's designed for unarmed melee combat only.

2 mins to win.

Since my internet has been down for the last week, I'm unable to test this out. Any inputs? Has someone already played this or something similar? Is this even remotly fun?

Offhand, I'd have to say NO unless you come up with a VASTLY different name. For shame.
