Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I see know reason to exclude you from the
reward.
hmmm...shouldn't that be "no" , do you think it means anything or just a typo or error?

Ok, people if indeed Brigid saw Jon and *IS* evil, we should assume that THEY have hilm now, if indeed it's no longer n our control (as i actually fear), we can't help him that much anymore.
If this is the case though, we could still give him a headstart.
As a way of pointing out what could be happening right now, i took the only "logical conclusion" and went to the press.
I gave them the story in an attempt to get as many "powerful" people as possible.
Shoot me if i did the wrong thing, i have his best interest at heart.
The Press as in The real press? Or the Hornchurch star?

the press as in the Hornchurch star, of course.
But even more i sent an email to Brigid demanding an interview or anything like that featuring HER AND JON, to explain some things.
Just a matter of taking things to their logical conclusions.
Lets see what she has to say for herself NOW !!!

I asked myself the same question, but i think the only explanation is in the reward or in relevance to the emails other people got...
EDIT: what if it means: I see NOW reason to exclude you from...., which reason would that be?

To me it reads that she sees know(sic) reason to exclude, which means she is going to include the late comers.
I didn't get an email yet. I wonder if Dontpanic did? He/she was the first to imput the information into HMFJ

i see know reason the text: i see know reason is not in my email, and she doesn't sign off with brigid harker:
My email (named thank you so very, very much):
Your location was right.
At 21.00 on Friday 28th January I finally caught up with my brother. As you can imagine, he wept when he saw me.
Because you've kept your end of the deal, I am now honour bound to keep mine. So don't worry, I've not forgotten the £10,946 reward - and I'm sure you haven't either!
I'm currently waiting to receive the final funds from my generous corporate benefactor and I'll let you know as soon as you can collect them.
Thanks again, all my love
Brigid x
ADD: there are two different emails!!!!

I got this mail with subject: Thank you for helping me;
At 21.00 on Friday 28th January I finally caught up with my brother at Peel Castle on the Isle of Man. As you can imagine, he wept when he saw me.
But just because you worked out Jon's location a little later than my other friends, I see know reason to exclude you from the reward.
I'm currently waiting to receive the final funds from my generous corporate benefactor and I'll let you know as soon as you can collect them.
Thanks again, all my love
Brigid x

Would you please stop posting your mails, unless they are different from the two mails posted on the previous page of this topic? (with the two spoilers above them) [No offence intended]

It certainly sounds like a "wrapup" email - but perhaps that's why there's two. Otherwise people recieving the first might be sitting back toasting themselves while the rest of us thought "game over." This way, everyone (well, nearly) who entered Jon's location is still in the game. Could there be more to come?
Imagine if Jon was on the run so he didn't have to sell his soul, when unwittingly Brigid has sold her's too, just to track Jon down. Ah, the sweet irony. Although I reckon she is probably is in on it with S&S.
And as far as I can recall someone vaguely authorative said that discreet inquiries suggested the cash was a real prize - but I can't find that post when I search, dammit! I've had the sense that the guys behind this have been making it up as they went along, so to speak, and it wouldn't surprise me if they've changed tack a little on the prize, either - especially if they've taken note of the collabarative nature of UF puzzle solving. It's certainly not something I'd have anticipated if I was them.

Of course they could always give out chunks of the prize along Fibonacci's lines, with ever decreasing portions for those who were second, third, fourth (etc...) to enter the correct location. Man I'd be good at this stuff! What was that email S&S sent me months ago saying they might want to employ me somehow in the future?
One thing I'm not so good at: actually going to websites and entering locations. Shizzle my nizzle.

Yup I got the exact e-mail as tassie did. She signs off with Brigid X, but in my inbox usually mail from her says Just Brigid. This time it said Brigid Harker, sorry if I am confusing!
I really don't think there is any money. I think it's definitely got something to do with Sable and Shuck though, but not in a good way!
I wish I knew what was going on!!!
