Hmmm... For me the images are still working. Isn't it your pop-up/commercial killer that removes the images? (in my case it did till I changed the settings)

EDIT: all sites are fine - no problem with any of them.

Now the hornchurch star site loads for me, complete with images. I can''t see any obvious updates, we will have to check the other sites.

this reminds me of something i've noticed a little while ago, but i don't think that's important.

while trying to think of what jon could mean with 'usual channels' i thought of irc. so i tried to connect to irc.thehidingroom.com . to my surprise, although my irc client could not connect, it managed to resolve the host!
i then tried a web browser, and http://irc.thehidingroom.com took me to a debian apache server "welcome to your new home page" default page.
sadly i found out that it's a wild card so anything.thehidingroom.com will take you there.
i don't know why they would have an open *.thehidingroom.com page though.
maybe anyone who's more familiar with apache than i am could help us there.

or is there an actual subdomain on thehidingroom.com with another website?

(btw before anyone gets false hopes, this is really a default page, and it's not a 'taurus' it's a gnu Very Happy )

flo, that is strange.
most decent web designers will know how to redirect to the required page, instead of leaving the default apache server notification!
it might be in game, it might not.... frankly i don't want to risk trying passwords on their server because it's illegal!
Also note that the server is called 'mail.stellascreen.co.uk'.
there's one of two things going on here.....
1. it's an honest mistake by the PM's - after all they also forgot that we'd be able to find each others mobile telephone numbers when they sent group messages. As soon as they read about it in this forum, they'll quickly put the correct redirect in.
2. They have just installed the apache server to accommodate IRC, or indeed some other sub-domain. I think we'll ahev to wait and see on that one!

either way, good find!

Well, apparently either they updated something (but I havent' found nothing new yet) or they had some technical problem for a couple of minutes.
Grutte pyr: why 6th of february?

nadif,

im not sure if this is a clue or not, but i found this:

http://www.cauldronfarm.com/asphodel/

asphodel i found in pathwaytravelpages, somewhere in europe.

and ofcourse brigid, solstice, imbolc all the paganworshipping stuff....

ofcourse, now i reread it again, it could be just a date organized by them...but i doubt that...it must be something. now i read lots of hits for imbolc taking place on februari 1th...today that is....mmmmmmm

found another thing: 6th of februari is a FULL MOON

Oh, right, Candlemas, I forgot that. Well, if we consider Candlemas according to the Latin rite, the day is February 2nd, i.e tomorrow. And according to other sources I checked, Imbolc (the neopagan holyday often associated with the cult of Brigid) is either celebrated on the 1st or 2nd of February.
Maybe tomorrow something new will happen; but, IMHO, this is quite unlikely: we all know already that the pauses between mayor game events are quite long, and after today's emails from Brigid I would be (pleasantly) surprised if new stuff came out tomorrow.
Obviously I hope I'm wrong...

M.
