I just had an idea: anyone got a pocket tape recorder? Something we can use to get the call onto a computer and email it to Lenny or something?

Cool! Well just as we thought, tuesday at 9. Now we play the guessing game, what the hell is going to happen? Whatever it is it will be big - I bet.

I E-mailed Lenn and got a reply. I was hoping the calls would mark a pattern that we could follow:

Lenn,

I'm a member of a team that's helping you solve the mystery of the
strange E-mails and calls you have been getting. I just wanted to ask
you a question, we need all the information we can get. Think back to
the times you received the calls if you can. Are there any patterns in
timings or dates? Also, if you can, look at your E-mail account and
see if there are any patterns in the times you received your E-mails.
If there is a pattern please respond and tell me, or if you have time
please tell me the times anyway so we can work on it. They may unveil
a clue or two.

Please respond.

Your faithfully,

Crowfoot.

Hey Crowfoot,

There isn't any pattern to the frequency of the calls or emails...the
only thing I can say is they're steadily increasing in frequency (the
calls, especially)...

Well at least we know he's getting a lot more calls, and whoever it is on the other end is becoming desperate. Maybe they don't the database to be complete? I don't know. The plot is slowly unravelling, we just have to read between the lines.

Well there was the standard ILB phone mic from radio shack found here
that sticks to the phone and picks up the conversation, so if you have a recorder this would work well.

Wow I didn't know those existed, cool. We still have the troublesome puzzle of finding someone to answer the phone though.

Good job on the solve, Sarah.

I did a quick check, and the word "REMNRETRIEVING" is encoded that way. Weird! I wonder what it could mean...

It must be encoded that way for a reason, it could be a clue.

I'd like to think it is significant. However, there is the possibility that it would be due to a "hick-up" resulting from "damage". Just being devil's advocate, please don't kill me! Laughing

The only abbreviation I can think of for REMN is Remnant....

How about "remain", or "remaining" ?

It *COULD* be that it was just coded wrong by whoever sent it, as well... In my expereince with using Hex for an ARG, I know that occasionally these things seem to happen...
OR it could just be that the UE got it wrong.

This, to me, seems like the most plausible explaination.
