REMN... what if it's just "remote network "or "remote node"? Maybe it's not a clue but just, well, ambience.

Wow. I'm gone for a day and alla this happens. Man, I need to stay up on these things. Well. Looks like we'll just have to wait Lenny out till he updates again. Have we gotten anyone that can grab the phone on Tuesday?!?! ANYONE AT ALL?!?! *slaps self* Ahem... well. Let's hope that we find someone, a random stranger certainly won't help this along much.

Finally, a game that's on a roll. Was bored to tears waiting for Perplex City to gear up, and Neurcam won't mail me back yet. Ready to start helping out.

Neurocam is strange. I got a mail back, and went ahead and took down the events, sent them in, and got nothing.

Did you send it to the correct address? You shouldn't just "reply" to the email that gives you the assignment. If you did use the correct address, just wait, it takes 7-10 working days to process your assessment.
Aaaaand OT mode off, back to Lurk mode.

What I'm hoping is it's not just some cheap copy, but rather a well thought out game related to that specific genre of ARG.

About the Remnants comment--remnants of what??

I also discovered something interesting: I was just listening to the I Love Bees radio drama, and in Jersey's first chapter. one of the FIRST things durga says is 'Survive Evade Resist Escape', which is EXACTLY what the voice says during the phone conversation...

Connection, coincidence, or ripoff?

There are few coincidences, so I'd say either connection or ripoff, most likely.

Something tells me this will be far from a ripoff. However, I do see a definite connection.

Memory? Data? But I'm leaning toward memories because the "girl" doesn't know who she is.

Just got a new E-mail from Lenn:

Lenny wrote:
The calls all of a
sudden seemed to have stopped...they were slowly starting to creep
into the daytime when all of a sudden...nothing...the phone rang at 3
yesterday, only for it to be a wrong number; someone looking for a
girl named Jan....I maybe reading into things, but his phone made the
STRANGEST hangup noise...like a "BE-BEEP!"...maybe a new
cellphone...the connection was echo-y and extremely staticy... *shrug*

I snipped it a bit becuase we were tlaking about Xbox Live, but he also said he hadn't heard Survive, Evade, Resist, Escape again.

Shocked Not Jan as in Jan... James? And you know those chatternet connections -- aren't they sometimes a bit buggy? If you listen to the old .wav's, the hangup noise sure sounds awful like a be-beep....

This is getting way too co-incidental now. But is it a cheap copy or a continuation? Arrrgh. Guess we'll find out on Tuesday, huh?
