UPDATE: New live Journal entry 9 July

5:39 pm This looks like a good place to stop and hide out for a while.

Link in above livejournal is incorrect... but points to the geocities site. Now has a (strangely coloured) map in addition to the imposter wav and the photos.

Where is it? Any of you US people recognise the roads and layout?

So Duke University is in Durham I take it. Where is that?

And what are we meant to do with that fact? We know where Ewan is, but have no real idea what (if anything) we could/should be doing to help.

*shrug*

It's in North Carolina, dahlin'. Very Happy

No clue as to what to do. I'm on the opposite side of the country.

I'm just pumped I solved something for once. It's been a long time, sigh.

Ohh... not as simple to find Ewan as we thought.

I split the image channels (and inverted)... and the Durham map is the Magenta channel... the other two seem to give us more info/directions.

I do not know where he is trying to lead us...Where did you get that map? Maybe somewhere else close by is the other maps.

The "cyan" map

The "cyan" map is the largest, showing the route from Washington DC (the star), south to Durham.

And the highlighted building is the "Gray" building containing Language center and the Perkin's Library.

Ok... so now (again) we know where he is.

Additional July 9th journal entry...

9:36 pm It was after hours, but like many university buildings it was unlocked. Behold: heat, lounge chairs, and internet access. (We sleep in rare comfort tonight!) And there, sitting right out in the open, was the Henkel press. I gingerly lifted and turned its various parts, and got on the floor beneath it to examine its works. When Rahne wasn't looking, I took a postcard from my back pocket and wedged it into the press. I'm not sure why I wrote what I did on it, but I knew that I didn't want Raynie to read it.
