Har har, looking at the new disclaimers, haven't seen it in a while, thought neurocam is not a diet merits a mention.

As I said before, the real, juicy stuff is happening to the players in Australia, being that taht's where they're based, but they still want to get a lot of people to join, a game on an international level, so they got us doing busywork with no real purpose.

He has to find 3 dead drop locations...which in turn will be used for another England based player to drop something off, and yet another to pick them up. Meanwhile, we all stay intrigued by the Australian players (recently the audiofiles with an engaging story about experiments and such).

At least, that's what I've come to see this as....

When you're asked to write what you think Neurocam is on your application I think that's how they decide what to tell you it isn't!

Hey, some of us Australian operatives are ARGers!

bgardner is right to say that we should not harrass other neurocam players such as Xade, Tript and um... *thinks* Graham Henstock! But not because they're not "traditional ARG-ers who tend not to share information as openly as and ARG-er."

Although I see your point, I can't help but think that they are sharing as much info as they can through the use of their blog. Naturally they want to continue with neurocam and so can not reveal too much.

Neurocam is very different now that it was when it started. Most notably, the new staff and style of mission... I'm not sure if they have truely branched out across the globe. It seems unlikely. Although hopefully they will manage to set up missions similar to some of the old Australian missions. Obsivously we can't interact with any of the characters but, who knows, they might make new characters for each areas/county.

I think that neurocam is an ARG, and I say that because as i am reading deeper into the documents, the "RUBY" and "SAPPHIRE" do remind me of neon genesis eva... and there is a live action eva is production as we speak.... or these are the ramblings of a crazed anime fan... but that me...
Neurocam = nerv? who knows?

... Shocked ...I don't understand!

I'm not sure what my take on Ruby and Sapphire are. I think it might still be explained. Ruby and Sapphire came up in Henleys rein though and I thinking Hastings and his crew want to start more or less from a fresh start... So it might still be explained... But they might pass it off as a hoax like they did with 'Who Is Robert Henley' which was originally part of the story... But then again, to keep IC they would deny that it was real... even though Henley did not deny that it was real... Oh dear! So much information for me to take in!!

EDIT: Oh right! 'neon genesis eva' is an anime film which is going to be made into a live action film! Sorry, i'm not sure why I didn't understand that. Hmm... I might check it out. What were Ruby and Sapphire in neon genesis eva?

I highly doubt that Neurocam is based on an anime.

But then again, nothing surprises me anymore.

Nah I don't think it is either I was just interested to see what they represented in the movie...

I'm not going to think about ruby and sapphire any more. Asking questions only leaves you with more questions. Or so it seems... I'll just see what happens for now!

rejected

Apparently Neurocam rejects people if they aren't good enough. Which means they actually read the reports. Which means...::Gasp:: its not an autoresponder.

Anyways, their rejection letter follows:

Dear Applicant

Thank you for completing Neurocam International's application process.

Your Neurocam Perception Assignment NCI-2001/01 report was evaluated in accordance with the organization's pre-determined assessment criteria.

Neurocam's Human Resources Security Division has determined that your report failed to demonstrate the minimum requirement of at least seven
(7)
out of ten (10) of the indicative criteria required for Neurocam acceptance.

You are hereby informed that your application to Neurocam International has been unsuccessful.

We thank you once again for your application and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Kind Regards

Bridget Fischer

I was never really sure whether or not they read those initial reports...

I assumed that it was an autoresponder because everyone seemed to get the minimum requirements and this was confirmed in identical e-mails. But then again, it seems that neurocam do respond to all enqiries! Or at least, Maxwell Knight does.

I suppose they have to read them really, just to keep it realistic. So that if someone sent in a page of rubbish then they wont get accepted... REALISM!

I just started NeuroCam last Friday a bit curious as to what date and time they are going to give now. One thing I have noticed based on what I know about what is need for a background check it is imposable to do so with the information they ask of you to begin with. Or is there enough? Sorry if this has already been said I am still very knew to all this.
