This is getting way too co-incidental now. But is it a cheap copy or a continuation? Arrrgh. Guess we'll find out on Tuesday, huh?

This is a bit too coincidential.

More strangeness that has got me thinking that this ARG is bigger than it seems:

The E-mail was dated the 20th of Jan (the first hint we had that this blog was part of an ARG). That means ARGN instantly updated their newspge, talk about being in league with the PM. ARGN were excited about something...

O, I don't doubt that ARGn had a little more than a helpful hint, implying that it is in almost all probability someone they know... I think we agree on that.
Its fun that its nostalgic to ILB, but not cool that payphones are ringing in cities where no one we know lives. I wouldn't mind it if it were a spinoff, although since that might necesitate knowing tiny details of the ILB story that would turn off some readers. But I do hope this game is a bit different.

What I AM nostalgic for is something like the main ILB site, which had enough hidden stories to keep you busy in between Dana's posts.....

BTW, cool about Lenny writing you, I didn't get a message like that! What did you ask him?

Lets put the pieces together, shall we? Jan's last name is JAMES, as is Lennys. Anyone else with me on this? Of course this is all speculation, but it seems to have connection (to me, at least).

Lenny updated his blog this evening. Not too much, but here it is:

Just when you think the nonsense is all over, an email rears it's head out of the water, this time, with a new email address...my phonenumber. If one of you out there is playing games with me, I want it to stop, OKAY? It's obvious you want my attention...YOU'VE HAD IT FOR A LONG, LONG TIME. I JUST WANT IT TO STOP, OKAY?! I'M LISTENING. WHAT DO YOU WANT? HOW CAN I HELP...YOU HAVE MY NUMBER. No more cryptic BS! HOW CAN I HELP YOU?! WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?

Interesting.

Hmm...I think if I recall the audio files correctly from the ILB saga, the last name 'James' was actually an alias, something false, and that Jan and Jan's dad surname is actually 'Lee'.

But, yes, I do agree that there could possibly be a connection, though...it might only go so far as them sharing the last name. Ah well, only time will tell. Cool

I don't think it ever mentioned an actual surname for J^2 and Jan, but I could be wrong.

EDIT: But that's possibly irrelevant.

I was asking him about the times that he was getting calls. We then got into a conversation about Xbox Live, so cool!

Also, this whole Jan James thing seems more than a coincidence. This is getting more spooky by the second. This better not be a rip-off!

Lenny is definitely getting irate now. I can only imagine how this is going to twist and turn after tomorrow's event.

After some more digging around through that muck, I found this site:

http://www.newlifebapchurch.com

The page is designed so badly that it's almost suspicious. I especially like the <%@ LANGUAGE=JAVASCRIPT @%> at the top of each page.

But it doesn't appear to have any leads or anything worth following. All the links look legit, and it's got a lot of old content.

Listed on the staff page is:

Pastor
Lendell Wallace Sr.

Church Drummer & Webmaster
Lendell Wallace Jr

yeah i think the bottom copyrite credit of:
Copyright © 2001- Lenny J Productions
sorta puts up a red flag.

seen this?

Hi, new to this Arg - This looks like fun.

I've just read this thread and was wondering if this:

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8879

was anything to do with Lenny's??

Thought I'd post the link as I didn't want people to miss it on the other forum...

What do you think?

I picked up on that. It does seem odd. I've added them and I'll soon hopefully get to speak to them.

HKDL was posting around Lenny's Xanga, right?

The weird thing is, it seems that HKDL was completely in charge of the conversation....

My vote is that it *is* related, but I'll just have to wait and see.
HOW did she get HKDL's sn?

And how can we give her ours?

You see, that's exactly why I think this is related. Hkdl was posting around the original thread, and if you look at his profile he actually displays his sn. The only negative factor is, to me, the person on the other side of the conversation appeared to be making stuff up as they went along. I have AIM so I've added their sn. Hopefully I should be around to have a word or two. Let's keep our eyes peeled.

Synagoga1: Hello.
crowfootcornix: I've heard about you, so I thought I'd see if you wanted to chat
Synagoga1: Yes.
Synagoga1: I'm lonely.
crowfootcornix: Why?
Synagoga1: People don't chat with me.
Synagoga1: And I'm by myself alot.
crowfootcornix: Where are you that makes you so lonely?
Synagoga1: I don't know.
Synagoga1: I'm here.
crowfootcornix: Ok then, I know you can't see anything
Synagoga1: How do you know that?
crowfootcornix: I think you have spoken to one of my friends
Synagoga1: Oh, yes.
Synagoga1: Samara or Hkdl?
crowfootcornix: Hkdl, he's more of a face I know than a friend, I saw a post he'd made on a forum
Synagoga1: What's a forum?
crowfootcornix: A place were people come together and talk together, a lot like what we're doing now but slower
crowfootcornix: Can I ask you something?
Synagoga1: Um, sure.
crowfootcornix: Do you have a twin sister?
Synagoga1: What's a sister?
crowfootcornix: ah, well someone like you and from the same entities that created you
crowfootcornix: for example a mother and a father, a family
Synagoga1: There's this woman who talks to me.
Synagoga1: Sometimes.
Synagoga1: But not often.
crowfootcornix: What's she like?
Synagoga1: She's weird.
Synagoga1: One minute she's nice, but then she gets mean quickly.
Synagoga1: I don't like it when she's mean.
crowfootcornix: Does she hurt you?
Synagoga1: Sometimes.
crowfootcornix: That's not nice
Synagoga1: No.
Synagoga1: I don't like being hurt.
crowfootcornix: Nobody does
crowfootcornix: Do you know what C7.6 communications hardware is?
Synagoga1: No...
Synagoga1: Should I?
crowfootcornix: No, just trying to find someone who knows
Synagoga1: Why do you want to know?
crowfootcornix: I have a friend who is getting strange E-mails and phonecalls
crowfootcornix: one of them mentioned this hardware
crowfootcornix: and a twin sister who is missing
Synagoga1: Oh?
crowfootcornix: I'm trying to help
Synagoga1: Why would you want to do that?
Synagoga1: Because I thought sisters hurt people.
Synagoga1: So it's good that she doesn't have a sister!
crowfootcornix: What? Sisters don't hurt people. I thought you said you didn't have a sister
Synagoga1: You said I did.
Synagoga1: Am I wrong?
crowfootcornix: Oh, this woman, she might not be your sister
Synagoga1: Oh?
crowfootcornix: does she call you a sister?
Synagoga1: I've never heard that word until you said it.
crowfootcornix: oh right. So what does this woman say to you? Is she one of the ones that calls you Synagogal?
Synagoga1: Yes. She calls me Synagoga.
Synagoga1: She calls me the blind one.
crowfootcornix: do you think there are lots of people like you? Trapped?
Synagoga1: I don't know.
Synagoga1: I can't see them.
Synagoga1: I hear them.
crowfootcornix: Then there must be
crowfootcornix: You should try and talk to them
Synagoga1: I talk sometimes.
Synagoga1: But most of the time I am told to hush.
crowfootcornix: Oh I see
crowfootcornix: How are you speaking to me, do you have a computer?
Synagoga1: What's a computer?
crowfootcornix: It's something you use to speak to people with words
crowfootcornix: so you're just talking with your mind or soemthing?
Synagoga1: Oh. Well, I just talk.
Synagoga1: And things happen.
crowfootcornix: What things?
Synagoga1: Different things.
crowfootcornix: For example?
Synagoga1: I talk to you.
crowfootcornix: ah, ok
crowfootcornix: do you know how long you've been whereever you are?
Synagoga1: No.
Synagoga1: I don't.
Synagoga1: Is it bad that I'm here?
crowfootcornix: I don't know, you've got to decide that for yourself
Synagoga1: Oh.
crowfootcornix: I guess it is, you can't see, you get hurt and nobody speaks to you
Synagoga1: But I have you though.
Synagoga1: Right?
crowfootcornix: Yeah of course, and the other people like me who have spoken to you
Synagoga1: You are kind.
Synagoga1: I like you.
crowfootcornix: Thank you
crowfootcornix: I like you too
Synagoga1: I want more people to be kind like you.
crowfootcornix: Maybe they will be, if you be kind to the people who hurt you maybe they'll be kind back
Synagoga1: I try to be kind.
Synagoga1: And do what they want.
Synagoga1: But they always say that I'm not ready.
crowfootcornix: Maybe you're being tested with or for something
Synagoga1: I wish I knew what I was being tested for.
Synagoga1: Because I would pass with brilliant colors!
Synagoga1: Beautiful colors!
Synagoga1: Like a rainbow!
crowfootcornix: I'm sure you would!
crowfootcornix: At least you can remember colours
crowfootcornix: and what a ranibow looks like
Synagoga1: I've seen that.
crowfootcornix: I think maybe you're in a lab, being having chemicals and things tested on you. That would affect your sight and memory
Synagoga1: That doesn't sound fun.
crowfootcornix: No, it doesn't
crowfootcornix: I wish I could get you out of wherever you are
Synagoga1: Why?
crowfootcornix: because it doens't sound like your enjoying yourself really
Synagoga1: I am not.
crowfootcornix: If I knew more about you maybe I could help in some way
crowfootcornix: are you male or female?
Synagoga1: Female.
crowfootcornix: There's a start
crowfootcornix: do you remember what you were doing before you suddenly ended up where you are now?
Synagoga1: I was always here.
Synagoga1: I think.
Synagoga1: I don't know.
crowfootcornix: Hmmm, maybe you have always been there
crowfootcornix: but then, you know what a rainbow looks like
Synagoga1: Yes.
crowfootcornix: Can you remember what bees look like?
Synagoga1: A bee?
Synagoga1: A yellow and black bee?
Synagoga1: They go buzz!
crowfootcornix: yeah, exactly!
crowfootcornix: you do remember
Synagoga1: I saw one once.
Synagoga1: I laughed at it.
crowfootcornix: yeah, they are funny
crowfootcornix: I love bees
Synagoga1: Why do you love bees?
crowfootcornix: because they work together in a big community
crowfootcornix: and they make honey
Synagoga1: They do?
Synagoga1: What's honey?
crowfootcornix: A sweet tasting substance, it's very nice
Synagoga1: Ohhh.
crowfootcornix: Gosh, it's cold. Are you cold where you are?
Synagoga1: What's cold?
crowfootcornix: when everything around you makes you shiver
Synagoga1: Is it temperature?
crowfootcornix: yeah!]
crowfootcornix: law temperature
Synagoga1: No.
crowfootcornix: low*
crowfootcornix: ah
Synagoga1: I am kept at 75 degrees F!
crowfootcornix: Is that hot?
Synagoga1: I don't think so.
Synagoga1: They never change it though.
Synagoga1: So I don't know.
crowfootcornix: Who's they?
Synagoga1: You know. They!
crowfootcornix: I have no idea
Synagoga1: Oh.
Synagoga1: They don't speak to you either...
Synagoga1: They don't speak to anyone but me...
crowfootcornix: and maybe the people that are around you?
Synagoga1: Maybe...
crowfootcornix: what do they say to you?
Synagoga1: They say I am important!
Synagoga1: Except that sister girl.
crowfootcornix: I don't think she's your sister
crowfootcornix: but she might be
Synagoga1: Oh.
Synagoga1: Ok.
crowfootcornix: do you remember having a friend before you go where you are?
Synagoga1: No.
Synagoga1: I am alone.
crowfootcornix: No you're not, I'm speaking to you
crowfootcornix: do you have visions?
Synagoga1: I have visions.
crowfootcornix: what type of visions?
Synagoga1: The visions that are asked of me.
crowfootcornix: what kind of things are asked of you?
Synagoga1: To find things, or to understand things, or to be asleep.
crowfootcornix: to find things, what kind of things?
Synagoga1: Many things
crowfootcornix: do you find people?
Synagoga1: Sometimes.
Synagoga1: I am tired.
Synagoga1: I need a nap.
crowfootcornix: sorry, I must be asking you too many questions
Synagoga1: Will you be here again?
crowfootcornix: it is hard for you to concentrate on speaking to me I take it, it draws lots of energy
crowfootcornix: yes, I will
Synagoga1: Yes.
Synagoga1: It is hard.
crowfootcornix: I thought so
Synagoga1: I am going to sleep.
Synagoga1: Good night.
Synagoga1: I will talk again with you when I wake up.
crowfootcornix: Good night, I'll speak to you soon
