Oh well, at least Synagoga seems nicer and less, well, b*tchy than Ecclesia.

If Synagoga ans Ecclesia (or Ecclasianastia?) are really the twin sisters, then I do not understand who has been pestering Lenny. It can't be Synagoga, since she seems to be unaware of the existence of a sister (she even didn't know the word), and it woyld certainly also not be Ecclesia, since she obviously knows where Synagoga is.

Further, there is something strange about the relation between Synagoga/Ecclesia (Judaism/christianism) and the actual conversations with Synagoga: it seems that Ecclesia (as a part of the 'they' that Synagoga talks about) is trying to gear her up for some sort of a task. This is in contrast to the role of Ecclesia in the religious setting, where Ecclesia has cried victory over Synagoga.

It is further a pity that the play develops at the US time scheme: it does not allow us Europeans to be fully "in" into the game, although we can catch up nicely the next morning and reflect on the events of the night before.

I'm a bit of new into ARGs (started with Sable+Shuck) but I like it. I also think it is time to have myself registered at IRC/AIM/MSN and all other communication means that are frequently used in this type of game.

Hope to be of help Idea in the background, though.

I got my cousin up to speed about everything that's going on, and he seems really excited about getting to the phone...are we all sure the time is 7PM (EST)?

To confirm the time, I suggest we go back to the time that Lenn posted that on his Xanga and add 115 hours. That and the fact that the person on the phone the first time said, Tuesday at 7 p.m. I believe that's what your cousin said.

Someone else said that it may be 9PM, however for the phone the person your cousin talking to said 7PM. It may be something else happening at 9PM.

It's definetly confirmed that 7PM is a time (as Sarah calculated the estimate on page 9 of this thread). And I also read 9 PM somewhere, but I don't know if I saw any logical evidence to back up that claim. Is there something missing or was 9PM just a bit of misinformation?

I'm leaning more towards the latter, as it's safe to say that 7PM is the time, since there's been vocal confirmation (from from the phone conversation with Siren451's cousin) and calculated data confirmation (though a recalculation wouldn't hurt).

And today's Tuesday, so exciting! Wonder what's going to happen...

heh, the only problem with that being that I didn't, technically, do any math.
That was an estimate based on what I already knew... i didn't bother to count it out once I knew it was Teusday.

Siren, is your cousin updated, and is there anything we can tell him to bring him up to speed?

And can he record it...?

meeting time

I just did the calculations, and if the email is supposed to be relatvie to the time Lenny posted then it is definetly not today at 7:00

Math:

Start Time:12:36
115 - (24*4) = 19(hours past 12:36)

edit:
7:36AM on Wednesday morning
Embarassed can't add

Just thought I'd throw that out there

Hmmm

Start 12:30 (rounded off)........ 3:30 Philly time
115 hours is 4 days and 19 hours

From friday, four days later is Tuesday, 12:30..... 3:30 Philly time
add 19 hours to that...... Wednesday, 7:30 AM..... 10:30 AM Philly

WTF??

EDIT: I'm thinking we should still have someone there at 7, when the meeting was officially planned.
It could be that the countdown is to something else entirely.....

7pm came from the woman on the phone, am I right? Was there ever anything that suggested the phonecall was definitely in game? Do we have anything that came from Lenny suggesting 7?

The phone number came from the email address @30STS. That was determined to be 30th street station in Philly. When Siren's cousin went to check out the physical location, the phone rang so he answered it. It was an angry sounding woman who wanted to know what he knew. He said he didn't know anything and that he was asked to come and check out the phone. Then the woman said she'll call back Tuesday at 7PM.

I think that' it. Perhaps that is Eclesia (sp?) calling?!

Um guys, I just went over the math, given the hours to completion, etc and I think we have the wrong time. I'm going to emphasize the important parts.

New email sent just a few minutes ago...same address as before.  Guys, do your conversion magic...

5345 4152 4348 2043 4F4D 504C 4554 452E 5245 4D4E 5245 5452 4945 5649 4E47 2043 4F4D 4D55 4E49 4341 5449 4F4E 2050 524F 544F 434F 4C53 2E52 4550 4149 5249 4E47 2044 4154 4142 4153 4553 2E45 5354 494D 4154 4544 5449 4D45 2054 4F20 434F 4D50 4C45 5449 4F4E 2E31 3135 484F 5552 53

12:36 PM - 6 eprops - 9 comments - email it

We've converted the hex and we know that something gets completed in 115 hours.

So given that he said he got this email a few minutes after posting this mesage on his blog, I'm going to round out that email being sent at 12:30pm PST on Friday afternoon. Then we go 115 hours ahead of that and here's what I get:

Friday 12:30pm
+24
Saturday 12:30pm
+24
Sunday 12:30pm
+24
Monday 12:30pm
+24
Tuesday 12:30pm

So we arrive at Tuessay 12:30pm after using 96 of our given 115 hours. We have 19 hours left. That pushes us to Wednesday at 7:30am PST.

Now, if someone called and said to be at this phone on Tuesday at 7pm, then we better have someone there. But do we know what time zone we are supposed to be working in? Lenny is in PST, but the payphone in Philly is in EST, and we have no idea what time zone this woman was in when she called.

Lacking the polish......Smile
