hmm, not an awful lot new there... her sister's with a he who doesn't understand, presumably Lenny. References to ILB and possibly to mental illness of some sort (the voices) which ties in with the conversations with Lenny and his mom...

no updates on Lenny's xanga. Has anyone heard from him on email or AIM?

Some questions:

Was the e-mail that Mike gave out the address for someone playing the game or his own?

The contacts seem limited to one-on-one right now. Is there any chance we can escalate this and create some sort of method for group contact? The voice seems pretty knowledgeable about electronic means of communication. Our next priority should be for all members to establish an e-mail contact with the voice, if possible.

I was just thinking that so far, our contact has only communicated with one person at a tiime, which is cool so far, but there are others on the list who would like to be more actively involved (like me =) ). So if we can get some sort of e-mail address from the voice so we can all e-mail her/it, that would probably be a good idea.

After all, it's sort of hard to play guardian angel when you're waiting for everyone else to post info. =)

This is so cool! That's confirmation, right there! This at least has connections to ILB. That voice was there to tell us that, and to establish the next step. I agree, we have to find a way of all contacting her. Well done Siren, and your cousin!

Just a quick ILB recap for those who didn't follow along:

An advanced AI from the future somehow splits in two and ends up in two different time frames. One half, named "Durga" by a character in the story, ended up in the future. The other half, "Melissa" actually split again and ended up in the present time. The "Melissa" half broke into a) the Queen and b) The Sleeping Princess. Basically, Queen+SP could be considered a twin of Durga. They were connected in some unknown but fundamental way via a "Mirror", which reflected any conspicuous attempts to pass through but allowed "subconscious" information (usually in the form of audio recordings) to pass to the players.

Part of the plotline in ILB involved the Queen fragment repairing herself to a point where she could communicate via Payphones (or "Axons"). By Actviating or "Enhottenating" the Axons, players were able to help rebuild her further and eventually reconnect with her split half from the future.

One other detail to note was the presence of an alien "spy" called the Pious Flea. It found a way to manipulate the Queen by imitating a process called the SPDR, essentially identifying itself as a later version thus sending the old version into retirement. The PF was an unknown factor for the majority of the game, and seemed to be helping the Sleeping Princess fragment at times in order to manipulate the players into doing what it wanted (essentially, complete the story and inform the Bad Guys where Earth was.)

If this has ILB connections, we could be dealing with several different combinations of those AI fragments.
