Leads on C7.6 Communications

Since its the first thing we were asked to figure out to fix...

I can't guarantee this is related, but I felt a bit excited when I saw this...
please note the "PART NAME" in the bottom left corner.

Perhaps we should run this by Lenny?

Good job, Sarah! I think you're onto something. In a weird way, this is beginning to tie in with this synagoga's description of her surrounding. Each development leads me further down this path...

Good job Sarah! I think this is a plant to perhaps get the Laboratories info out as there are two errors on the diagram that I wouldn't think would be there...

First one is a typo/phrasing error in the upper lefthand box..."cannot be used without written permission form Microwave Communications Laboratories Inc." Form should be from

The second thing is that on the drawing on the left has the threaded screw is listed as female...it should be listed as male...as a ...well, sorry about this...male screws into things and a female is ...well...receptive.

Anything? Maybe Female Form?

I don't know, that might be going too far into it. But it is mighty suspicious that I site like that would get something as obvious as a screw wrong... great observations. We should keep our eye on this.

The only problem is the site seems legit. Theres a link at the bottom of the page that says that it was made by a company in Cali, but other than that I can't see that they've been sitting on a copyright for the site since 2003

Before ILB even started.....

I think the errors are on the mcli people's part. UNless, of course, 4ourty 2wo has been planning both of these since 2003.......

Then again, there are tons of real phone numbers on the site......

Exactly why I don't think this is in game, but a site doesn't have to be in game to be in game if you get what I mean. The PM probably stumbled upon this site and though, 'ah, I might use this'. That's exactly what I would do.

I agree. May be something the PM accidentaly found out and decided to use in-game. Which is, imho, even cooler than making up a brand new in-game site.
Once again, lovely Sarah saves the day. Oh well, she's Lenny's sweetheart, she probably has an advantage in getting information. Laughing

You're just jealous, aren't you, M?
He's been ignoring my emails and the like, too (he didn't even mention *I* sent the phone transcript-- how rude***)

Sarah

***note: it is fully possible many of us sent that.

I just sent him an email, let's see if he writes back. By the way, has anybody already asked him to share with us the GPS coordinates?

yes i've asked, i posted a comment on his xanga but it cant hurt to send an e-mail. On the C7.6 thing, it appears that this thing from Microwave Communications Laboratory is a directional coupler, does that count as hardware? I thought couplers were out of Star Wars pod racing but apparently their real. Trying to do some research on what they actually do.
