Fugitive, I think you show as a clan member on bungie.net if you're just invited to the clan! You don't have to accept the invitation to show as a clan member there.

I know I was showing as member of 4+ clans without ever accepting an invitation! When I joined Evade3, I think it still shows me as a clan member for the others. When I finally declined the other invites, I think I got off the list though.

Ah, but saving an invite lists you as a default "member" on bungie.net.

I was an Overlord in one and still Staff in the other.


The Beekeepers clan mates could still see me listed on their in game Clan Page, yet in parenthesis was (ONI Section 0).

When they told me they no longer had an option to Send Clan Invite because of this, I got worried I might be screwed.

So I disbanded ONI, and when I signed off/on, I reverted back to being a Staff member in the Beekeepers.

And no, saving invites does nothing In Game, it just shows up as a member on bungie.net.

When I did this dual clan wielding, as far as Clan Match matchmaking went, it counted me as only being in ONI.

PS: Please don't steal the clanname "ONI Section 0". There is a chance me or my brother may try to use it somehow. Thanks.

No problem. The key thing is that on Bungie.net, a "queue-d Clan Invited" person is listed as being a Member in the clan (because that's the default rank).

That's what makes it odd that I had both a Staff and an Overlord spot listed.

My In Game screens showed me as being in ONI.

Beekeepers In Game Clan list showed me on it, but with the clan name of ONI.

I could send them Clan Invites to ONI, but they could not send me Clan Invites to the Beekeepers.

The only way I could pull it off again is to wait until I have bad lag at sign-on. :p
