Email Phyllis and the aftermath

Sunny! I have only now caught my breath and calmed myself sufficiently to type this all out. Something utterly astonishing is happening! It started like this: Douglas came home and stomped up to his office then came rushing back in a towering rage, yelling my name. I was certain he was going to confront me with snooping through his office but instead he demanded, "Where did they go?! Those people you brought in the house! Did you stay with them all the time?! Where did they go?! Oh my, well, that covers me, I thought, and proceeded to lead him through the dining room and, since we were downstairs, he followed me back to the storage room and then we went over to the entertainment room. I flipped the light switch and was so startled, I screamed! I don't know how to describe it except to say that Sarah's work is bleeding through the layers of paint that were applied to the walls, the ceiling, the floor! Letters, words, parts of images, all of her artwork is pushing its way to the surface!
Douglas collapsed in the nearest chair, shocked to silence. I ran to the phone and called Iris at the B&B. I was hysterical, laughing and crying at the same time. I went back to Douglas and told him, Iris is coming, but he sat there slack-jawed and shivering from shock. I ran upstairs, got a blanket and rushed back to cover him. The adrenaline was pumping through my body – I think I could have run a mile in a minute. I felt his pulse to make sure he hadn't had a heart attack and wondered if I should call an ambulance. Iris and her crew arrived and I let them in. Even they were shocked, I think, and they've seen a lot of weird things. Iris is going to take photographs tomorrow so you can all see.
I helped Douglas drink down a triple scotch and James and Chris helped me get him up to bed. He kept moaning, "Oh, my god," and kept trying to get off the bed muttering, "I must call... I must call." I huffed myself up and told him in no uncertain terms, "Mr. J. Douglas Willingham, you will stay in that bed and recover yourself or I'm going to tell everyone in the township what the J. stands for!" Ha! That knocked the fight out of him, let me tell you. The startled look on his face was priceless. I do believe tomorrow will be an appropriate time to suggest to him that we take separate rooms at the B&B. That won't keep me away from the house when Iris is here if I can help it...
I'm going to go fix myself a scotch now.

More tomorrow,
Phyllis

What the "j" stands for? Either a good joke (Jehosaphat or something equally unprofessional) or a clue...

I'm lost on the timeline. Could Sarah be a child of J?

Personally I think that she was calling JD a Jackass Razz Razz Razz

Age wise it's possible. If he's in his late 40s.
Don't think she is though..

Another possibility for the J name, next to the Judas one I already mentioned at CD..

Janice.. Twisted Evil
Some guys are given names, which traditionally fit with women more. Like Marion (real first name of John Wayne iirc.)

Dear Steffeny,

I think you have made an excellent suggestion about seeing Dr. Kendra. Of course, with Iris here and so much to be done I don't have time to be driving up to Klepsydra now. But, I will go see her eventually, I'm sure. I don't doubt my sanity, at this point, and the support and understanding of so many of you has been a great stress reliever. If I hadn't had my email friends, I would probably be in a very bad state by now. It has been incredibly important to me to be able to share and be encouraged to cope with these strange phenomena.
And, my issues with Douglas have only been fully realized through the insights provided by some of you. I shall be seeing Dr. Kendra for very personal reasons. I have come to realize that I am not emotionally mature. My upbringing inhibited my ability to relate to others in a natural way and I have never fully realized my Self as an individual. I think I have been treated like an object all my life and I will need help learning how to be a real person. The fact that Dr. Kendra knows Dale will be a great asset and spare me convincing someone that everything that has happened to me is not delusion. Thank you so much for caring about my well-being.

I am going to reply to a few more emails, then I'm going to make a lovely luncheon for myself and the EOS team. After that, I shall venture into the attic which I believe is the only part of the house that wasn't completely cleared out when we renovated. Perhaps, I shall find more clues for our investigation.

Sincerely,
Phyllis

The plus is she is a Doctor and people won't be able to get anything out of her because of patient/doctor confidentiality, and you can tell Douglas that you are going to see her because you are so worried about everything lately. Please do not wory about how this will appear to others, your mental health is important, and Douglas doesn't want his little wifey running down the street screaming at the top of her lungs from all the stress now does he? (That was meant as a joke by the way... sometimes the written word loses so much nuance)
>
> And if you are worried about what the Doctor might say, don't be. I have a secret to share. I suffer from Chronic Depression, there is a chemical imbalance of hormones in my brain that makes me grumpy and sad. It is not a fun thing, and people who have never suffered from it do not really understand it no matter how much you explain it. But I am on medication, Zoloft and Trazadone work best for me, but I am so much nicer and I don't get as snippy with people anymore, and I feel happier more often. Happier not "druggy high" - this does not do strange or weird things to how I see the world around me. Just because I believe you and Dale, well, that's how I have always been, it has nothing to do with my medical situation.

I'm wondering why the walls of JD's house would be acting up and bothering him in such a different way than it does his wife. Made me wonder if he and Sarah were related somehow.

I'm wondering who he wanted to call before Phyllis put her foot down and made him stay in bed. My money is on JD calling the mystery person and "invoking" something to make the walls normal again.

Maybe we should hold a seance at Phyliis's home? lol
