It seems it has begun! Excellent.
You Americans make sure you tell the rest of the world what you find in the early hours of tomorrow!
I'm actually really excited!

I am assuming we already have plenty of UK people getting those newspapers - but I'll be joining them and if I can I'll scan in anything I find... I think to be on the safe side I'll get one as often as I can!

I'd put money on it being filmed in Shinjuku. (Although Shinjuku is a ward of Tokyo, it commonly refers to just the large entertainment, business and shopping area around Shinjuku Station. )
Well maybe not "real" money.....
ETA: Yup
Compare THIS to the early part of the movie. (Bright orange/red/black color changing sign - same characters).

Skillet, Private rRootage of the Apocalypso ready for duty. I as well am a Chi-Town beekeeper, and while I lurked for the better part of ILB and Urban Hunt, I plan to be a bit more active with 'City.
On an unrelated note, I gave USA Today a call for any information they had on the advertisment. Unfortunately, the absurdly cheery lady on the other line "was not allowed to divulge that information at this time", and that we'd just have to wait for tomorrow. Ah well.
By the way, do we have a name yet for the Perplex City players? If not, I vote for Cubists.

Also in the link I posted above, you can see the Green Cube type sign comes after the first sign I described in both the vid and the pic. So I think that's definitely it.

"Cubers" sounds vulgar and silly enough. Fellow Cubers, unite.

Don't I wish....
Here's another pic, where you can see the TAITO sign
WARNING TUPOI :
This is where scenes from Bladerunner and Lost in Translation were filmed.

And ironically, I had been spending all week repairing Space Invaders from Taitto, which is especially why that one jumped out so

I think cuboids is better. I agree with cat. The only problem there could be is the lack of the big TDK sign on the right just before the bridge but that could be a line of sight thing. The building on the left of the photo cat posted has a strange angular thing going on ( I'm sure there are people out there that know more about architecture than me, who can say whats going on there) looks very similar to the building with the epson sign on on the left of the vid at about 11secs. Especially with the big red and yellow sign behind it

Cuboids? Those who resemble cubes?
Cubers? Those who....cube?
Cubists? Those with sideways eyes and a nose in the forehead.

I don't know about cubists... makes us sound like a bunch of fruity artists and while I may be fruity, I'm no artist.
