the music words seem to jump out deliberately.

You could put any subject in before those two words and it would make sense. I do agree with you on some of the other words though.

17 seconds in the car drives through a red light when see talks about being all the more shocking (more scepticism from me i think)

Update: maybe not sorry... its my first arg, somehow i find this very intriguing.

There really seems to be something about the rhythm in the chic's voice and the patches of black that appear.

She'll be talking, pause, video goes black, and then she emphasises the next word or phrase. This happens pretty consistently.

Phrases during the blackout parts: (bolded the blackouts where a newspaper is mentioned)

Quote:

There is a theme again
Across all relevant disciplines
Truly profound (and consequently)
Shocking - it is as though
All of our - shared histories
(different) lessons
a feeling of alienation (from)
our researchers have instead
on the other side of the curtain
period of comfortable (familiarity)

Edit: There really is no need to spoil this, everyone can listen to the video, and it requires no solving to be found. - Wishi-san

Tony:

Alright, I'm going to be extremely rusty with this, but I'll see if I can translate that harp plucking into some readable form. *probably tablature since I can't read sheet music* There might be something to this.

Well, I'll start on that after class anyway. *rushes off*

Thanks Marrec. I read sheet but dont have time worth a darn these days. Its been heck editing this series of books and videos and repairing games galore. Free time, whats that?

it might be a blind alley and actually refer to somethign else, but at this point, who knows? far as I am concerned, its solid Smile

Hmmm.....

I really don't think that they've hidden a reference to music in it. I mean, take a random bit of text and you'll probably find some references to pretty much anything in it. Especially when you're willing to stretch as far as "Study" and "Lessons"

Most of the connected words are really, really vague.

sharp, rhythmn and counterpoint are not all that vague and dont have too much context elsewhere....

end of backwards audio file

I listened to the audio backwards file, and at the very end, the last thing the woman says (backwards) sounds an awful lot like-
"negative. negative leave this earth"
I listened to this part many times over, and heard it each time. It might also be "never leave this earth"
But I'm probably wrong...it's brobably just a combination of me being crazy and coincedence Very Happy

Oh by the way, my first post. (been reading since...early Jan. ... finally decided to..."come out of the shadows"...)

Welcome to the wonderful world angus. I haven't heard anything in the backwards playing of the audio yet, but I'm still tweaking with some settings in AP.

Going to start on the tablature now, tell you if I find anything.

Also, if this music was produced seperatly from the video (I.E. made before and completely independent of Perplex City), I'd be interested to know it's source. Just for my sake.

There is a voice in the background too

It sounds like it is just an echo, but I noticed it a lot more when listening to the backwards recording.

Is it possible to seperate them?

Yeh, I hear 'eat dessert' when that it played backwards... but then, I'm hungry so... Embarassed

Also, it would take a long time to get the sliders just right... but it'd make it much easier to hear those synth harp notes that way. *whistles* Also, what measure is this music in? *curious is all*

Can't say I can really hear anything on the clip, except maybe 'Eat Glicerin'.

Embarassed
