Yes...I think the harder I worked at it, the harder it was to answer. It was like twelth grade calculus all over again (shudder).

edit: if anyone is still stuck pls dont read anything into what i wrote, wont help you with the solve.
back on topic tho
spec- the cube is real, as it was stolen. i take it physically removed from point a (behind the curtain-sente-academy) to point b (somewhere here in our world)
or so it seems.

In regards to the logo It always reminds me of the Qbert game on the Atari which is quite interesting, because the creators of Atari were originally going to name it Syzygy but the name was already taken!

Q. "Is the ?? cube real?"
A. "Yeppers" <REF=Taken Cube!>
Q. "Can I touch the ?? cube?"
A. "You may, but it has allergies, much like human skin can." <REF=Firebox Advert!>
I would certainly put money on this, it's gotta be physical. Whether any of our puny minds can picture the cube is another matter, it could be only visible in certain times of our dimensions though. Much like the little fellas that orbit the nucleus of atoms...
...i'm sure we will know. Eventually.

If it is physical, I am fairly sure our task will not be to 'physically' find it, right? I know that I love bees involved some real-world connections, but since this is a British-controlled but international game, I can't see that the 'winner' will have to literally find the cube. I mean, where would it be to ensure fairness?

Unless there is more than one cube? I think its entirely possible that the cube will be physical and have to be found. As far as fairness goes lifes not fair

Actually, I was just thinking the cube could have been broken up into pieces (smaller cubes?) and hidden around the world. Then they could make us all go out and recover part of it and combine our pieces to solve a puzzle or something.

Sure, if you'll pay for my plane tickets.
But I actually meant we'd all post the details of our cubes on here and work them out. For example, they might have a hidden message split up and printed on the sides of the cubes, and when we combined and decoded the parts it would say something like "LOL, foolish humans. While you were all out hunting for this ridiculous non-important cube we have been stealing all of your shoes!".

Could be real, could be several components as per the Academy logo to give us all a fighting chance, anything is possible. Given the scale of the work which appears to have gone into this and the financial resources behind it I would imagine plane tickets could arrive in post!
Has anyone been asked for personal info other than e-mail address? If anyone is, especially if it is in secret, would there be any way of notifying everyone without breaking the confidentiality?
We still need to know who (singular or otherwise) has taken the cube, and if it is of size that points to more than one person. They may also be looking for help keeping it hidden, given that it is a) valuable and b) they had a good reason to piss eveyone on their side off by taking it.....

Well then, assuming it is real, what exactly makes these far-out observers think we'll just hand it over, eh? Mmm... I sense a ransom plot coming on...
