I doubt it's anything as arcane as that. I think it's more likey "them" getting confirmation from the newspapers about publishing dates and whether or not they've managed to secure advertising space or not. Then the update the video accordingly.

or they may just be teasing us pulling the carrot again

sinse i don't think you could reserve space in a wanted ad a month in adavnce

You can, my company does it all the time, depending on the newspaper of course. I imagine that Hon and the gang are finding the same problems, hence the blanks in the video Smile

Maybe it's a response to our Canadian/Australian Wishlist?

Wouldnt giving us these dates in advance be a bit of a silly thing to do...

Surely it will atract a couple of peolple to put spoof adds in... (possibly the online one yesterday)

Does it perhaps mean last years papers/websites?

Just a thought

im hoping the adds will all be diffrent and a puzzle will evolve out of them
that can only be solved when all the clippings are brought toghtgher

I don't know if we've got anyone from Sydney here. I've seen people from Melbourne, Perth, and I'm from Adelaide, but I don't remember seeing anyone from Sydney posting in this forum (not that they've said anyway, yell at me if I'm wrong).

Still, they couldn't have timed it any better. The 28th is the day I go back to Uni, and I expect the library there will have a copy of the Daily Telegraph, so I should be able to get a scan of it.

probbably nothing but i've read more page on here about nothing that something

It might be possible that the gaps between release days follow the pattern 1,1,2,3,5,8,13.... (Fibonacci)... I'll get back on this in a sec...

The pattern now goes:

Either -

5,1,5,5*,3,13* [gaps]

- or -

4,0,4,4*,2,12* [for unused days]

BUT the ones marked * will still be broken up.

So no connection to fibonacci this time Sad

video numbers?

At a time of around 55 seconds a set of windows shows the number 4- perhaps the blanks in the clip will link us to more numbers via the press dates shown? just a thought.

that could also be misconstrued as a H depending on what frame your looking at as there is a tree in some frames

Well, I get the Calgary version of the Globe and Mail delivered daily, and it carries personals and business ads from Toronto, so I should be able to get a copy of the ad (hopefully!). When it's availalble, I'll scan it in.

Finally! I can help find a clue! Wink

And another thought...(sorry for the double post). Should we be having a look through the deaths and in memoriam announcements on those days, too? Looking for references to Zeller?
