Hidden Secret as to why Douglas bought the house

Dear Pam,

We went over to the Willingham home and worked on capturing both the
ambient sound and photographic images of the house. Chris and James were anxious to use their new toys and I left them to it as I wandered around, trying to make contact once more with the energy within the house.

I must admit to some disappointment that the pictures did not reappear
on the wall last night. Perhaps they knew that I had left equipment here and did not want to be caught on film.

However, part way through the morning's work, I was walking around in
an attempt to get a reading on the presences I felt yesterday. Suddenly I
was approached by a very powerful, old, and frightening entity. It led me
to the entry hall, getting stronger as we approached and as I entered the area I was suddenly overcome with another vision.

I looked around and saw that I was still standing in the entry hall,
though it had changed. The room was now unlit and very dark. The front door was open and I could see that it was just beginning to get really dark outside with a bright full moon on the horizon. I noticed that I was not alone and turned to find Mr. Willingham standing there, looking at the door as a dark figure entered. The figure was silhouetted against the moon so that I could not make out his face or features. But from him I felt power, authority, violence, and a sense of what I can only interpret as command, as if this person is used to being immediately and irrefutably obeyed. "You have done well, Alec . . . [I could not hear the rest of the word, though his lips continued to move, but it definitely seemed like there was more than just "alec" and that it was some form of name or title] . . . serve us well. Make whatever arrangements you need to purchase it. There is something here, a power about this place
we can use. Where is this girl you spoke of?" Mr. Willingham answered in a way that I though was timidly, his eyes looking down at the floor, "I don't know, my Lord. She does not seem to be here." "She is special, my servant, I can sense that," the other figure said, "Find her and bring her to me." And then he turned and went back out into the night. My vision ended there and I found myself on the floor with Chris, James and Phyllis standing over me.

Phyllis did not seem to understand what I was talking about. She had
no idea about who the man could have been, or when her husband may have come here without her. I am starting to think that there is a lot here that has happened secretly and I cannot help but think that Mr. Willingham may be involved in something that is not for the betterment of others.

I am off to write a few more emails and then take a shower before we
head over to the Dobb's house. They are having a BBQ for us and I cannot wait to interview more people. They are all so very fascinating here.

Iris

Whoa. This just gets weirder and weirder. I think the dark figure was the Don in his role as one of the Nine. JD is Alec? Alec_ _ _ is a title? I agree with Iris, these guys seem sinister and up to no good.
I'm wondering if the Don was able to coerce Sarah into helping him "restore the Nine"? Because I can't see her helping him willingly.

Good Spec Dash! Maybe he has promised to return Todd and/or her father to her.

Re: Alec

Just trying to connect the dots.... from this post http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1727

This was my first opportunity to safely explore Douglas' office. On the credenza, when first arranging the room, I had placed a lovely burl wood box, very masculine and meant to hold cigars. But, inside I found a nest of paper scraps and envelopes marked with a distinctive letter "A." ..... When I came back downstairs, Iris and James were telling Chris about "sensing" the name "Alec."
